PM Paetongtarn's Policy Statement critisised as Echo of Thaksin’s Vision
Thaksin sycophants have a selective memory. Their love for anything Thaksin related clouds their minds and they can't think logically. -

Harsher Penalties for "Drunk Driving and Repeat Offenders" Demanded
I suspect he was attacked and severely mauled by a vicious bag of weed when he was a child. I've seen this happen before. It hard to overcome such traumatic events at an early age.😔 Just cut him some slack. -

Early Release Scheme Hits Hurdles as Several Returned to Prison
From first link: “In response, the Ministry of Justice points out eligibility for the scheme is based on the offence, not the offender, and that offenders may be released early from their sentence for a lesser offence when they have previously completed a sentence for a sexual or violent offence.” Your second link is behind a paywall, do I went looking for an alternative, which reveals Lawson Natty has not been released and is awaiting deportation, refer link below: https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/gordon-gault-killer-lawson-nattys-29874083.amp Your third link: The Republica failed to mention some salient points. Fortunately The Daily Mail provides the important missing details: “A prisoner was arrested on suspicion of rape moments after being set free under Sir Keir Starmer's early release scheme, MailOnline can reveal.” “The man was seen walking out of the gates of the jail before turning his head from side to side in astonishment as he realised police were waiting for him. He allowed himself to be cuffed and led away into a waiting van that took him to a nearby police station. “ “Following an enquiry to the Met, it has emerged the man, 28, was arrested on suspicion of rape, sex assault and a racially aggravated public order offence - raising the question of why he was ever lined up for early release in the first place. “ “It is unclear when the alleged rape took place.” It seems like someone forgot to charge this guy with crimes he committed before he was sent to Prison, which probably explains why those crimes were not considered in his release. Thanks for the links. -

Don’t kill the golden goose! Tax reforms may drive away expats
I didn't write that the tax payer would be asked for anything at the airport, I said that there is some mechanism somewhere to guarantee that taxes are paid before the person departs. That mechanism is most probabl;y a guarantee by the employer, which shifts the responsibility. -

'Love tourists': Single men travelling overseas to find a bride
@Halfwit, if by chance you are addressing me with any of your posts(I cannot see them), you already ran out of mileage due to your childish behaviour. You need to grow up to be able to understand that people can have quite different perspectives. -

Don’t kill the golden goose! Tax reforms may drive away expats
It's hard to prove something to someone who won't accept reality. Reality- the TCC document is not operational in Thailand, and has not been for a long time. One of the threads I quoted was from 2019. Here's what a mod said: "Over 15 years of living and working here (and paying tax etc) and leaving the country several times a year on business I have never once obtained or been asked for any tax documentation at the airport. Doubtless these things are still available but (at present) nobody seems to care." Here's what a member said (while they aren't technically correct as the law hasn't been rescinded, they are correct to say it's no longer in force: "The Tax Clearance Certificate regulation/law was rescinded about 20 years ago. It is no longer in force." -

Early Release Scheme Hits Hurdles as Several Returned to Prison
Just curious, as a Yank looking in. Was there a plan in place for housing and employing the newly released? Or were they on their own? -

The One Fatal Issue That Both Parties Consistently Refuse to Address
Whilst authorities cannot freeze a Bitcoin wallet directly in the way they can with bank accounts, they can take action through exchanges, legal orders, and blockchain analysis to limit the usability of certain funds. If you are worried, I guess you need to store (as I do) your bitcoins on an encrypted device. -

Poll: Who do you think I am?
Don't think anyone cares 'who' you are, but 'what' you are. Still living under that bridge and not accepting your multiple personality disorder. Get mom to make you some chocolate chip cookies w/milk, and you'll be right as rain. -

world wide income taxation update
Well I note in the local news article on her speech about the 10 policies that she will concentrate on, the one on the economy and taxes included a bit that she wants to get expats involved in the local tax too. I assume it is the same as Setha's plans but I guess we will soon (maybe) learn just what they plan to do with expats and taxes.
