Despite change in rules in June 2022 pointing out TM30 no longer required after inter province travel and international travel reentering with mult entry visa or reentry permit, it seems immigration are wanting new TM30 even if returning to normal ongoing address. Think this is tied up with trying to sync online TM47 with TM30. In any event, I'm doing my annual extension next Tuesday and tomorrow for first time ever I will request my condo office to do a TM30 and provide screenshot Bit apprehensive about this extension. Thread outlining changes para 2.2 https://aseannow.com/topic/1169664-thai-immigration-announce-changes-to-tm30-reporting/ Thanks! Let us know how it goes. I do mine in Jan. 1

OJAS Posted October 29, 2024 Posted October 29, 2024 Whether or not an updated TM30 is needed when doing business at CW (or any other immigration office, for that matter) seems to be dependent on 2 things:- (1) The particular officer you find yourself dealing with; and (2) More importantly, the particular side of the bed said officer got out of that morning. 1 1
Des1 Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 Just returned from CW after getting my one year retirement extension Plus doing a 90 day notification (had to go in person because I was out of the country when it came due last time). TM30 was never asked for. My extension went fast. The IO was very nice and friendly. I was out of there in 45 minutes.I made the appointment online for 9 a.m. and didn't need to stand in the long line when the office opened. gotta love that!

I did not include my TM30 PDF document in my doc set during my recent ext stay renewal. It was not asked for.

Again my guess is that if the IO sees you are TM30 valid (current address in sync) on their system, and there is a match between the TM30 and TM47, then there is no need to ask for a TM30.
