The Jackal Drone

Featured Replies

I have just been watching a Youtube video about this drone. It mentions the UK designing and manufacturing the drone with partner countries showing a Turkish and a Thai flag. The video goes on to talk about a UK company working in collaboration with a Turkish company that makes drones. But no mention of any involvement with Thailand. Seems an odd thing for Thailand to be involved with. Was this for real or was the wrong flag used in the video?

The video was uploaded 3 months ago.

The video was shot sometime between October '22 and April '23.

At that time the UK/Turkey partnership (drone from Turkey, weapons fit and testing from UK company) were looking for a manufacturer.

An agreement was signed with Taiwan in September '23........looks like one or more people working on the video made the common mistake of confusing Taiwan with Thailand.

Easily done. I had to send some papers to somebody in Bangkok and they never arrived. Well not immediately. They did turn up several months later having gone to Taiwan.

Next will be confusion between Austria and Australia. 😀
