Does Anybody Use Windows Mobile 5 And/or Edge?

Featured Replies

Hi i ahave just got myself a xda mini with windows mobile 5 and just would like to know a question

There seems to be an issue regarding the contacts i am trying to save a international number using 009 along with the phone number it is not a problem saving it the problem is if i save it with 009 then when i send a txt to this number it won't let me take out the 009 therefore it wont send on the other side if i dont save it with 009 and just save the number when i ring it the only way i can see is by manually editing the contact first or writing the number down which is a pain!!!

Does anyone else have this problem and if so how have they got round it...also are there any good sites for software..

and finally i am using Dtac for EDGE in Bangkok and am gettin round 120ish is 1-2-call faster??

thanks

Use ++ instead of 00, that's normal for all GSM phones, nothing to do with Windows.

The + sign isn't the problem as when I use the prefix 009 instead of direct dial u get calls for 7 baht I.e instead of +44123456789 u use 00944123456789 so I am trying to get round that solution...but thanks anway
