My thoughts, as a Non-American, looking in from the outside:

 

Not long after the 2016 election, it became obvious to me that Trump was not presidential material.  He's a business man, and used to giving orders, and when he asks people to jump, he is asked, "How High".

 

The President of The United States of America will have advisers for every subject on earth.  He will need to listen to the professional advice and make a decision with the information forwarded from those advisors.  Trump doesn't know how to be president, only how to do what he wants, when he wants; considering that the sitting president is known as the most powerful person in the world, I find that a very frightening situation. 

 

I would probably run out of adjectives if I described my unbiased opinion of Trump, so I'll leave it there.

 

No disrespect intended to Trump supporters; everybody is entitled to their own opinion.

The judge created a legal construct whereby digital penetration  is rape in other jurisdictions, where the trial did not take place, and therefore Caroll's statement that he raped her "was substantially true" because the jury accepted he had sexually assaulted her.

 

This matter will be subject to appeal and is not over.

It’s not my job to find evidence of your claims. Trump is currently liable for sexual abuse which as the judge confirmed is the same as rape in any other state. The judge confirmed he raped her. As it stands it is not defamation to state he raped her. An appeal has nothing to do with it currently.

If you believe Carroll. Remember she was allowed to use "outcry wtinesses", ie her own friends who said she talked about the rape to them.  Did you know in rape cases it's admissable to have people testify who were not at the rape, were not witnesses but who say their friend did mention it to them? Well in New York, it's admissable.

Effectively that is exactly right, because Caroll enlisted lots of her friends to testify that, even though they weren't there, they were told by Carroll after the event that it happened, the jury had considerable "evidence" for Caroll's claims.

 

How reliable a claim by a friend is about an event at which they are not present, is another matter.

 

However, even that jury found that Trump did not rape Caroll, but accepted he fondled and fingered her. For which again, the only evidence is Carroll's friends' statements and her own account.

If Trump and Vance went home, locked themselves up, and did not say anything, or appear again until the election, they would have a better chance of winning. Otherwise, they shoot themselves in the foot daily, as they are both horrendously poor candidates and campaigners. And Vance really needs to avoid donut shops, and Trump really needs do avoid all contact with the military. They despise him, for many good reasons.
