Seattle times disputes CHOP size not big ,only 6 city blocks
I remember that CHop block in Seattle when the left took over a section of the city. Police & Fire fighters had issues with going into that area for safety reasons. As a result the city got sued , somebody got shot and died. Anderson’s father, Horace Anderson, sued the city, then-Mayor Jenny Durkan and Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant in November 2021, alleging they encouraged lawbreaking during the protests and “undermined the safety of others” for political theater. The lawsuit alleged police were unable or unwilling to enter the CHOP zone to search for a suspect or conduct an investigation for hours after the shooting. He was awarded 500,000. https://www.seattletimes.com/subscribe/signup-offers/?pw=redirect&subsource=paywall&return=https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/law-justice/city-of-seattle-pays-500k-to-settle-lawsuit-over-death-of-man-killed-in-chop-shooting/ https://apnews.com/article/politics-seattle-lawsuits-shootings-2ad83621bc132013fb71477929608a7e -

Reduce taxation by gifting.
For the sake of argument, let's say this would work. It would work once. It's not a sustainable solution in the long term. BTW if you were serious about it, you probably wouldn't post it If they are serious about going after small fry (a big IF), the foreigners who use cash, ATMs, CCs - if they really feel it's worth it harassing them, then the TRD will start with the obvious question: what money do you live on? But this is all chump change. The big ticket items - car, condo, land and houses - you are not going to finance like this. -

Animal sacrifices on the rise in Queens, NY
Have the Haitians been bussed/flown to NY now? Or where they already settled there after entering illegally through the southern border? Are these the same Haitian's that Biden accused the Border Patrol (BP) of horse whipping as they tried to enter illegally? Those wrangling experts in the White House (of all places) at first appeared to know more about horsemanship than the mounted BP agents. Finally the White House claims were later….”DEBUNKED “. All without the presence of the appointed “Border Czar “. -

Reduce taxation by gifting.
So, if you don't know about the "rules down under" how can you say I am wrong and you are right? For the record, I am specifically talking about "tax evasion" which is a crime, not "tax avoidance" or "tax minimization" which is not a crime. A crime means you are charged, and the burden of proof is upon the government, in this case, being the accuser. That said, I do see the point you are making. A high net worth individual's law / accounting firm may argue it is tax minimization when the government may argue it's tax evasion. Should that be the case, the government has to present their case, which is defended. Quite often, one case is a test case for many others, over the years to follow. You really are blurring the lines between tax evasion and tax minimization. One is illegal, the other legal, and whilst both can end up in Court, one is a crime, the other is not. If you are American, think Al Capone. -

Thai immigration online 90 day reporting system
The last time I left Thailand was in 2012. I returned the same year. Since then, I have completed online applications numerous times. A couple of years ago, I renewed my passport at my embassy in Bangkok. I can't recall if at any time I have submitted the TM 30. Just provided my address when filled out my one-year extension of stay or 90-day reports. And as matter of fact, I'm staying at the same place for over 20 years. -

Seattle times disputes CHOP size not big ,only 6 city blocks
More media fact checking content on the debate. “Social media users ripped The Seattle Times this week for stating that former President Trump "falsely claimed" during the debate that Black Lives Matter/Antifa protesters took over a "big portion" of Seattle during riots in 2020. In a piece published the morning after his debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, the outlet called out Trump for allegedly getting the size of the Capitol Hill Organized Protest (CHOP) wrong. Trump stated during the debate that the protest that wrested control of city blocks from local authorities in Seattle was "big," while the outlet corrected him saying it was only "six city blocks" and "fluctuated. https://www.foxnews.com/media/seattle-times-blasted-saying-trump-falsely-claimed-blm-protestors-took-over-big-part-city-2020 -

Aussie Savings Account Interest
You probably brought your house for $100,000. The same house, well, really it's just the land, is now $1.5 million in the burbs. (Sydney) Data shows people's wages haven't kept up with house prices. It's a bubble, made by interested parties, including all three tiers of government. Withhold supply to artificially drive up demand, thus prices. The banks are happy (more money in interest) the council is happy (rates) the state government is happy (stamp duty) the federal government is happy (land tax) the insurance companies are happy (higher premiums) the developers are happy (forced downsizing) the real estate agents are happy (commission) the politicians are happy (they own land set to be rezoned) employers are happy (they have property owners as slaves for employees now) investors are happy (negative gearing) and the list goes on and on. Meanwhile, here's a young Aussie couple just wanting a house in the burbs to start a family. Normal in 1991, now, they need "The Bank of Mum and Dad" to get a look in. Also, a lot of "cash in hand" back then, but not now. Difficult for young people to even save for a deposit these days. You are laughing at an Australian housing crisis that is even effecting Australia's birth rate. Australia actually needs immigration for the economy. There's plenty on the net about it. Here's an interesting historic link i stumbled across that explains my point. It's a lot worse now in 2024. https://www.9news.com.au/finance/rates-1990-versus-2007/8251875f-a878-49a5-bca6-559d2dcdb361#:~:text=Back in March 1990%2C the,up 44.99 percent of income. Maybe you can post how "lucky" these young Aussies are these days, living in "The Lucky County" while you are laughing at them at 6.5% interest rates. Clearly, you are out of touch with what is happening back in Australia to our kids, and grand kids.
