A while ago now i saw an interview with an old military officer,

he said"governments come and governments go but the army will be here forever".

Thaksin would do well for himself to remember that.

The same could be said of dinosaurs, and apart from the few left in the Thai military, all the dinosaurs died out.

Thaksin seems to have strong back up from the tourist and there are more military units in the King's Guards than in the regular military and they are in barracks in Bangkok.

IMHO, unless the tourist declares a coup there is unlikely to be one.

  • He better watch it or the Military might just throw Him and the new PM out again.

  • Impossible! Thaksin is innocent. His daughter has already assured the nation she is solely deciding the people who she works with. 🤣🤣 What a parody! Throw his arse back in jail. Ok, JAIL this tim

  • Thaksin, suddenly feeling unwell, holds his neck, grimacing in pain.

Yes , 3 Shinawatras kicked out of office 3 times by the military.

Do these megalomaniacs ever learn from history?

The Thai military certainly does not learn from history.

Neither does Tony .

This is very likely a total charade, meant to cover up the complicity of Thaksin and the army, during his recent return. There is no question that there was a quid pro quo, between him and the army. You return, surrender your party and your soul to us, let us appoint some guys into your cabinet and the senate (pretending they were elected/legitimately selected), and we will have your back, and make sure you never serve prison time.

Thai politics   -  so very complicated , I think I ' ll just go and have a beer .....
