Prime Minister Starmer Defends Taking Donations Amid Criticism
Oh let’s wander off into imaginary scenarios rather than face the actual reality of these factual cases. -

Prime Minister Starmer Defends Taking Donations Amid Criticism
Oh, so the black and white proof that they were imprisoned for the offenses under Section 127 of the Communications Act, links provided, is some kind of alternative reality? Believe me, I absolutely was not expecting to see the term ‘hurty words’ in the legislation. The term ‘hurty words’ is you grievance strikers came up with to avoid facing the fact of what crimes your martyrs committed and confessed to committing. Please forgive me if that was a bit hurty for you. -

Dog's Loud Barking Drives Neighbour to Shoot Man Next Door
I'm over 70 now and I am still dumbfounded by how insensitive and uncooperative the owners of barking machines can be. I myself have been irritated to the edge of violence myself because of them on more than one occasion. We have a neighbor that got a small poodle with an insane barking problem at all hours day and night. Over the years, we tried things like yelling at them through the window, putting notes in their mail box, and even calling the police on multiple occasions. It was on the third such police visit that they finally got the message more or less. Leading up to that, if I thought I could have gotten away with it, I would have tried to find a way to poison it. Mind you, this is in Japan which is famous for being careful about interaction with others and avoiding causing disturbances. I only hope they do not replace that dispicable little demon with another just like it when it finally dies which can't be too soon. -

Thailand banks could be forced to share hacking costs
It will be very interesting to see if this gets any traction beyond being "tabled for discussion"............. It has become a very serious issue for many people and the banks do not seem that interested in really finding out how and why when money goes missing. I base this on recent third hand experience with an expat working here. -

Latest developments and discussion of recent events in the Ukraine War
It was multiple drones as reported multiple times by both Ukraine and Russia, I don't buy your takes especially when they veer into conspiracy theories. -

Honest Question: How is Trump a 'threat to Democracy'?
fair enough, thats all true. definitely not right though, i dont like that its viewed as normal, or just the price you may pay if someone doesnt agree with your politics. most of the western world seems to be having a psychotic episode right now, people are just so aggressive, angry and completely intolerant of people with different opinions. and i mean people on both sides of any disagreement. it has to stop. -

AGODA (again)
It might be your bank that is to blame and not Agoda. I've booked countless times with them. Never had a problem. If you want your money back, use the live chat. Pretty straight forward. -

Thai gov. to tax (remitted) income from abroad for tax residents starting 2024 - Part II
That's my point, in the UK HMRC has clear guidelines that if you use a Foreign Credit Card to purchase Goods or Services in the UK and then pay the resulting bill using money from a Foreign Bank Account you are remitting money into the UK. Very clear & if we're honest with ourselves, it makes perfect sense. And yes, this is how the UK taxes UK Tax Residents, citizens or Non-Citizens doesn't matter as long as they're Tax Resident. But then again, maybe I'm delusional because some Aussie wants to try to school me on how Remittance based Taxation works... -
