A 35-year-old woman in Pathum Thani went into a violent frenzy, attacking her 11-year-old daughter with a knife, leaving her injured. She then locked herself in a room with her 7-year-old son at a housing project in Klong Luang, Pathum Thani.

Police successfully subdued her after a tense negotiation. The incident is believed to have stemmed from an argument with a food delivery rider.

At 6:20 p.m. on September 29, officers from Klong Luang Police Station responded to a report of child abuse at the housing project in Kilometer 44, Klong Nueng Subdistrict.

Upon arrival, police and rescue personnel found the woman locked inside a first-floor apartment with her son. She was incoherent and acting erratically, claiming someone was trying to harm her. Her 11-year-old daughter, who had been injured with a knife to her left ankle, had already been taken to Thammasat University Hospital.

Neighbors reported that the mother had previously worked as a tattoo artist. Earlier in the evening, a food delivery rider arrived, and an argument broke out. After the rider left, the woman's behavior escalated, leading to her attacking her daughter.

The girl cried out for help, shouting, "Stop, it hurts!" Neighbors intervened and called for assistance after discovering the injured child.

Police managed to talk the mother into opening the door to prevent further harm to her son. As her aggression waned, they seized the opportunity to subdue and arrest her, reported Daily News.

She now faces charges of assault and violating the Domestic Violence Act. Authorities are coordinating with social services to provide temporary care for the children during the investigation.

Seems like a mother who deserves to get her kids taken away from her.

Yep another Thai nutter, was Lao Kho and Yabba involved yet again ?? Did she get her 10k pay out.?? That's at least 3 kids (girls)  in the last few days that should sadly not be with their parents.

I'm waiting for an article where a local used their fists to punch someone here, instead of a knife, machete or gun. Not against a child of course in any event. A weapon seems to always be used, most likely a knife of some sort. Seems like it's been passed down through generations, as it's usually a learned behavior to attack someone with a weapon. The US has more stabbing deaths as does a few more countries but most of those are among gangs.

Easy explanation!

Can you open a coconut with a machete

Holding in your hand,

Can you fillet a fish these people are brought up with these skills,

I am not excusing this criminal behaviour

Every city in every country there are knives and machetes, but here they have uses beyond coconuts and fish, and are part of the things many carry when they leave the house.  Money, scooter or car keys, pocket knife,  house keys, comb or brush, phone, machete, grocery list.
