Hi everyone,

I’m looking for recommendations for a reliable mechanic in Chiang Mai to check my Honda scooter. It was caught in some flooding, with water reaching up to the exhaust pipe. I’m not sure about the extent of the damage but would like to get it inspected and repaired as soon as possible.

Any suggestions for trustworthy mechanics or service centres that have experience with water-damaged bikes would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Last I looked the majority of the city was flooded to the eyeballs.

Best give the locals a few weeks to recover.

Can imagine the last thing on their mind would be fixing yor bruddy motorcy.

Does it start firstly on Electric start or turn over ? try kicking it. Take the spark plug out and turn Engine over if water has entered the cylinder this will blow it out. Spay some easy start in the cylinder then kick it over again once you have put the plug back in.

Op if it starts just ride it.

if not take it to any motor bike shop at the side of the road.

they will have it running in 20 minutes.

don't over think this.

There is an excellent motorbike repair shop down Rajachphrunk Alley behind Nakornping Condominium and Hop Inn Hotel. He's well-equiped and knowledgeable. Google Map 18.799052132287716,   98.97476074165948
