Manafort was charged with four counts of failing to file reports of foreign bank and financial accounts while Gates was charged with three. The charges arise from Manafort's consulting work for a pro-Russian government in Ukraine and are unrelated to the Trump campaign.

That's not what they said. As I suspected you're very badly informed and living in a maga media bubble.

Also -- stuff has happened since then.

In fact Trump's calls as a citizen with Putin have the potential of being charged as serious crimes.

Plus the Russia thing is much bigger than direct traceable collusion. Russia didn't and doesn't need that to work very hard to get Trump elected.
