Hi my name is Jim and I live in the USA. My situation is this. I build and sell guitars in the US, and I am interested in living in Thailand.

My questions are:

What type (if any) visa would I need to build my guitars in Thailand.

How difficult would it be to import the wood that I need to build with. Most of my suppliers are in the US or Canada.

How about exporting to the US (finished guitars).

Would the VISA requirements be different if I sold some in Thailand?

I don't want to work for someone else just myself. I think that if I build 2 guitars a month I could be comfortable.

Thanks and if more info is needed let me know.

How about work permits (i think that is what I ment to ask
