Op out of contact payment for debit/credit cards (no pin req'd)
You have, at most three local ATM/Debit cards? No need to carry cards, just use the Bank's mobile app and pay via PromptPay. Obviously, if you need cash carry that one ATM/Debit card to the ATM. AFAIK, Thai ATM/Debit cards do not have 2FA. Most banks here have an option for notifications of use, email/in app/SMS. Most mobile apps here have options for managing limits/usage. -

Big C Extra is becoming too dangerous to visit
I was told this was exacerbated by workers on the roof installing solar panels... and presumably subsequent rains. The escalator going under it was closed for a while, which was a pain in itself, but got reopened about 10 or so days ago. I will take an umbrella! -

A couple would have twice the fares for bus and train Double fare Double fare If travelling as a couple it would make sense to get a taxi/Mr T or similar. -
