You cannot be serious!
Forest for Europe? Last evening's display, where they demolished The Foxes, sends the club up into 5th spot. We are not suggesting that they could win the EPL, but top six seems realistic? What about top 4 even? Who would have thought that at the start of the season? Only an intoxicated Forest fan. In Chris Wood, they have a real goal-scoring gem. No, he can't play for England as his Nationality is New Zealand. He has been around some time; playing for Toon, Baggies, Clarets and The Foxes during the past 14 years. Oh yes! He was also in London with Millwall. But it is at Forest where the 32 year old Wood has hit some serious form. Big one this w/e; Arsenal at home to Pool. -

Doctors expensive
Regarding the point of the Op and comparison with costs back in Aus... I'll also draw comparisons with the UK. Having suffered too many injuries in the past couple of years I've ended up having three operations. In Thailand was able to: - Get a next day appointment - Get a next day MRI with afternoon follow up for results - Very quickly receive medical treatment (Operation - within 2-5 days in all cases) This of course was costly: Arthroscopic (knee / ankle - Approx 330,000 to 450,000 baht in total each time - insurance covered this). Conversely, in the UK (NHS), I know two people who waited months and months. - One who waited 8 months - in constant pain - Another who waited 2 years - in terrible pain and struggled to walk Thus: While the costs here are high, and increasing, access to great medical care is also outstanding. Beyond considerations of timing and efficiency, another defining aspect of the medical industry here is the emphasis on thorough testing - if there is a test available, it will be administered. While we must exercise caution to avoid unnecessary procedures, this approach ensures comprehensive care. Conversely, in the UK, a potentially necessary test may sometimes be bypassed due to cost constraints or limited availability. The only issue with the healthcare in Thailand that I have is the cost of insurance - as we get older, getting solid health insurance cover will become more and more expensive to the point of it being prohibitive. The public healthcare sector here is also good (in many hospitals, obviously poor in others), so its cheaper than private - but there is no 'national health care' for those of us living here full time which is a concern as we get older. -

Former GOP Adviser Predicts Harris Will 'Win Comfortably' Against Trump in Chaotic Race
PBS Newshour, broadcast in the USA last eve, talked about the attempted fraud, burning of ballots, false video of mail in ballots being destroyed. Gee, I do wonder which supporters are involved here? Fortunately, the election officials reiterated the checks and safeguards actively exposing these attempts to throw doubt into the American election process. My thanks to all our American poll/election workers who are diligently working as American citizens to keep our elections safe and secure (even while the right threatens them and their families from those who follow Trump's false claims of winning the 2020 election). -

My Microsoft Word has been 'deactivated'. What can I do?
Agree. Totally 'portable' as it's cloud based. Enough functionality for the basic/average user IMHO. -

Held at Customs.
a few years ago I bought a pair of boots off ebay from the UK, they were listed at $30. I also got a note from customs they were holding them but when I queried it I was told that who ever was in charge of the customs office decided the boots were worth more than $30, in fact 3 times more so wanted around 1500 baht import duties. I sent copies of the sales add plus the receipt but they refused to change their mind. It was a big rip off scheme customs were running deciding how much goods were worth and not what they were being sold for so they could pocket the "extra duties" they charged, no receipt was issued so it went straight in their pocket, dont know if this is the case with your watch but there are possibilities they want something extra- 1

Are drivers scamming you?
They're 'taxi' drivers, not personal butlers, why should they hump around all your shopping? -

Same as lawyers. They can give advice in a legal firm but they can't act for you or defend you in court. I also call BS on this stupid story.
