Thai wife rent out condo - deduct mortgage interest (+ other expenses) from tax liability?
Because despite what you think, the tax authority now have loads of big data at their disposal that they could easily use to identify people that rent out their property! Not worth not declaring especially if most your costs cover the rent. -

Immigration Raid in Pattaya Cracks Down on Illegal Foreign Workers
Chonburi Immigration Police recently conducted a targeted operation to apprehend illegal foreign workers residing in Nong Prue Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, following complaints from local residents. The operation was led by Police Colonel Napaspong Kosit Suriyamanee, the Director of Chonburi Immigration, after reports surfaced of migrant workers causing disturbances by gathering and drinking late into the night, disrupting neighbourhood peace. The immigration team divided into two units and conducted a thorough search of local makeshift housing. Some individuals attempted to flee, while others were caught off guard in various states of routine activity. The majority of those detained, approximately 50 people, were from Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia. They were transported to the Chonburi Immigration Office, where their documentation was thoroughly checked. While most detainees possessed valid work permits and visas, three individuals were found to be in Thailand illegally. Among them was one Laotian man who confessed to entering the country illegally three months ago to work as a day labourer. He explained that the higher wages in Thailand, where he earned 500 baht per day, allowed him to send money back home to support his parents. In contrast, he would only earn around 200-300 baht a day in Laos, insufficient to cover his family’s needs. The Laotian man was charged with illegal entry and unauthorized employment, while two Myanmar women were charged with unlawful entry. All three will be prosecuted and subsequently deported. Chonburi Immigration officials pledged to continue efforts to clear the region of illegal labor under directives from higher authorities. Picture and video from Immigration. -- 2024-11-01 -

Suvarnabhumi Bangkok Airport SAT-1 Terminal
Given the location of SAT1 on the airport property itself, there simply isn’t any way to construct a whole new, stand alone landslide terminal structure to accommodate both outbound processing (ie check-in faculties, outbound immigration and security) as well as all the inbound processes (commonly that’s just baggage reclaim and immigration)… plus you’d need road access to/from it for passengers, plus all the other trappings as well.. what you’d really be doing is creating an airport-within-an-airport To me, I’d argue the opposite, given the entrance is littler smack in front of you when you emerge from outbound security/passport control … and on the arrival side, as you emerge from the train level, you’re also smack in front of the inbound immigration area. To me, I’d bet that mathematically by time alone, even WITH - short train ride from SAT1, I’d you’re still actually closer to the immigration entry point, than if you had arrived at one of the mid or end gates on the F or G main building complex gates. -

Area 51 and aliens walks the earth, several geologists and historians with unconfirmed theories especially rooted in times thousands of years ago. So e it interisting for the stories, but science needs proofs, Im not interested in any covid discussions at all, I got my two shots and done with that
