Hi All,

Ill be back in the UK shortly, and whilst there i would like to renew my British passport, even though its still got a couple of years to run (i have many entries to 1 particular country and i wish to go back into this country after visiting the UK and think a new passport would be a safer bet).

I have recently obtained permanent residency in another country; does this change the process at all, do i need to get anything transferred in the new passport in the UK (i have been given a separate PR i.d card for the other country.

Thanks in advance.

Suspect that only those in the other country who issued you with the PR ID card to which you refer can answer this question.
