Re-Entry August 20, No Stamp

Recommended Posts

I am on a Non-O visa that expires in March 2025. I got a re-entry stamp, left Thailand for 2 months and re-entered on August 20th. I'm not sure if I was supposed to get a stamp for when to report to immigration but just calculating 90 days would be November 19th.

I should have attempted to do it online but since it's under 15 days from November 19th do I just need to go to Chaeng Wattana before that date?

Yes attend CW prior to Nov 20.

You won't be able to make an appointment now.

In future I suggest an appointment highly recommend (I did 90 report CW this week and very glad I made appointment)

Here is link

Edit: OP, for next report after the one you asked about, if you don't exit Thailand again prior to obtaining next extension then  you could do both on same visit.

You could make appointment for the extension followed by appointment for TM47.

I just did same the week.

When re-entering Thailand on a re-entry permit, the only stamp you are supposed to get is an entry stamp with the entry date and the expiration date of your current permission to stay.

There's no stamp given to remind you of your next due 90-day notification. As you just did, you're supposed to calculate that yourself.

I would add to that, they apparently no longer allow online 90 day reporting for the first report after entering/re-entering the country. So even if you'd thought of it, you might not have been able to report online.

Pleased to report that they do allow it. Just did mine 3 days ago.

In the past I was also able to do the first report online but earlier this year my first on line 90 day report after entering Thailand was rejected and I needed to report in person.  When I did my report the IO told me that this is the policy now.  I use the Chiang Rai office.

Could be regional. I have done the online after re-entry many times but this year(Sept) the online was rejected with a message to say first application after re-entry is to be done in person.

Bit of a pain as my extension being a first on a new visa was also a 90 day, so effectively a report in person. Problem probably that it was done in the room next door.
