Another confirmation of the planned protests one of the ring leaders being a former UNWRA employee in Syria

Key Findings from NCRI’s Amsterdam Pogrom Brief: On Nov 6-7, tensions between Maccabi TA fans and pro-Palestine activists escalated, leading to mob violence in Amsterdam. Despite advance warnings, local authorities did not intervene.

PGNL, led by organizers including a former UNRWA affiliate, explicitly coordinated the protests online in the hours and day before via social media and messaging apps

An accurate warning issued by Israeli authorities assessed an "extremely high" level of risk.

Organizers of the violent demonstration included 6 Dutch pro-Palestinian groups active on Instagram.

One if not the ringleader of the violence was the PGNL, a Dutch Palestinian community group with a nationwide presence and cross-platform social media accounts.

The announcement for the violent November 7 demonstration was similarly shared on PGNL's Telegram and WhatsApp channels.

Analysis of WhatsApp community yielded the mobile numbers of 4 admins, one of whom was a former UNWRA employee in Syria prior to immigrating to🇳🇱

Europe🚨 Takeaway: Europe’s Urgent Need for Improved Social Cyber Threat Detection 🚨

Amsterdam's mob violence underscores a critical gap in Europe’s social cyber threat detection. Organized violence was openly coordinated via social media and messaging apps, yet authorities failed to act on clear signals. Europe must bolster OSINT capabilities to detect and disrupt these threats before they escalate.

I have condemned the anti-Semitism and violence, i have not seen anything but denials about the provocational behaviour of the visitors. Sure, there would have been attacks without the provocations, but that doesn't excuse these.

Who claimed you had not condemned the attacks? Strawman nonsense.  My post has nothing to do with what you claim to condemn or what you don't condemn, it is an online credible assessment of the planned violent protests before by a highly respected org.

An update on the people being prosecuted for tha attacks on Israeli supporters, the prosecutions shows that it was a planned attack and it wasn't in relation to anything the MTA supporters did

Trials expose logistics, planning behind Amsterdam pogrom

Described by some as spontaneous reactions to Israeli provocations, the assaults emerged in court as antisemitic, ruthless—and meticulously planned.

By Canaan Lidor, JNS

More than a month after dozens of Arab men went on a so-called “Jew hunt” for Israeli soccer fans in Amsterdam, the trials of seven suspects revealed this week new information on the logistics of the event that shocked Jews and others worldwide.

The information, which was revealed on Wednesday at a court in Amsterdam, exposed the antisemitic agitation of the alleged perpetrators, and also how organizers worked for days to bus in culprits from across the Netherlands to ambush Israelis, whom the attackers often referred to simply as “Jews.”

The new information contradicts the popular narrative in the Netherlands that the assaults of Nov. 7 were a spontaneous reaction to Israeli soccer fans’ provocations.

The Court cases for the people involved are currently in progress and so its relevant to the story/thread .

My post was a report from yesterday's  Court case where the people involved are being prosecuted .

It shows what happened on the day .

There were allegations that the Israeli fans attacked the Amsterdam people and the Amsterdammers were retaliating , the prosecution's show that it was a pre meditated  attack on the Israelis

This is not what is being reported in the Dutch news. I'd recommend waiting for the first verdicts later this month.

I have just been looking at the Dutch news and they are saying the same thing , evidence has been provided in Court showing people from all over Holland went to Amsterdam to attack Jews and they arranged it in Chat groups prior to the game .

A post making unattributed claims has been removed @stevenl This is a discussion topic and there is also no reason to wait until trials are over, plenty of information comes out before verdicts.

I don't doubt some were bused in. This claim seems to be incorrect.

"also how organizers worked for days to bus in culprits from across the Netherlands to ambush Israelis, whom the attackers often referred to simply as “Jews.”".

Prosecution is saying it were not premeditated anti-Semitic attacks but riots fueled by the circumstances in Gaza and the identification of the maccabi supporters with the IDF.

Wait and see till 24 December when the first verdicts will be issued.

This is what the Prosecution is saying

However, the public prosecutor said that he actively contributed to chat groups and a demonstration in which antisemitic statements were rife. “Words like ‘cancerous Jews’ and ‘cancerous Zionists’ were used as if they were the most normal things in the world,” the court heard. The prosecution demanded a six month jail sentence, with three months suspended and deducting his 11 days in pre-trial arrest.

"with calls in chat groups for violence against Jewish people that were discriminatory and illegal."

Of the seven people charged in Court , three of them live in  Amsterdam and four of them live in Monnickendam, Utrecht, The Hague and near Eindhoven.

As they travelled to Amsterdam , that does seem to suggest that they went to Amsterdam just to confront the Israelis
