Again you resort to allegations of spreading false information, and yet I have provided quotes from the school head confirming that enrollment had already fallen below a sustainable level and has now fallen further below the sustainable level. You really should wind in your habit of accusing me of dishonesty when I have backed my statements with those of the head of school. I don’t make statements on what constitutes the basis of other people’s posts. Really? 14 minutes ago, Chomper Higgot said: Yes as someone else says, the straw that broke the camel’s back, but clearly the back was already at breaking point. I think the school has been around about 67 years. That was another member responding to your misinformation post, do you want a link? The head of the school does not back your claims that it was on the ropes before.

Brian, I hate to break it to you but referring to someone else’s post is not the same thing as making a statement on the basis of that post.

Word salad to deflect from your dishonesty on what the head said. She is nopt saying they were struggling before this Julie Lodrick, Headmistress of Tudor Hall School, said: “We are reviewing the future of Carrdus School following the government’s decisions to introduce VAT on parents’ school fees mid-way through the school year, remove charitable business rates relief and increase employers’ national insurance contributions. "This combination has put both huge pressure on the school’s finances and our families with a number of parents giving notice to withdraw their child from the school.

Now please show me where it states that attending a private school in UK is a human right. A statute or a law or something. Not an ongoing court case. 1

Perhaps you need some education on this, here's another. What will VAT on private education mean for children with SEND Driven to desperation and failed by the system, many parents of SEND children have turned to the private sector where they often saw their children’s attainment and mental health improve dramatically. The announced plans to add 20% VAT on all private education is a massive blow, pushing many already strained families over the edge and pushing many children with SEND back to the already struggling state sector. https://www.senschoolsguide.com/post/what-will-vat-on-private-education-mean-for-children-with-send
