Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Call for Urgent Action on Child Safety in New Video Message

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have delivered a powerful message to the United Nations, urging immediate action to end violence against children. Appearing together in a joint video address to a conference in Colombia on Friday, November 8, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex spoke out on the need to prioritize child safety, particularly in the digital realm.

In the video, Harry underscored the gravity of the issue, stating, "We are at a crossroads." He emphasized that the time has come to "reassess and redefine our approach to protecting children," pointing to the increased urgency around keeping young people safe in an ever-evolving digital world.

Meghan echoed Harry's sentiments, acknowledging both the benefits and challenges brought by today’s interconnected age. "My husband and I recognize that today’s reality is marked by greater connectivity and advanced technology which, of course, has many positives. However, it also compels us to better understand how digital violence against children is manifesting itself in this age," she said.

Their message comes amid growing global concerns over online threats to children, such as cyberbullying, exploitation, and exposure to harmful content. By speaking directly to the United Nations, Harry and Meghan add their voices to a broader movement calling for comprehensive action to make the digital world a safer place for children everywhere.

The most self serving boring couple ever. Harry made a big mistake.

Megan turned him into the wimp he is now.

I'd be more worried about his own children having a Dad living in a foreign country if I was him.

The Dems can't protect their favourite royal Woke prince from his lies on the visa application much longer. Pack your bags Harry.

Totally agree, she turned him into her lapdog!

Prominent people take a very public stand to promote child safety; people who obsessively ooze hatred at the merest suggestion of their name ignore the message and attack the messenger.

They will do and say anything to stay relevant,do they really care, don't think so.

If I delivered a powerful message to the UN I would be arrested. What's his secret?

American Liberals still doff their cap to British Royalty. Old habits die hard.

The Markle's could do what he liked under the protection of Biden/Harris. But the party's over. Donald is back. Squeaky bum time for Harry Markle. What goes around comes around.

his uncle, the PEDO...  should start with that

Didn't you state previously that "Oirish" - your often used prefix - Joe Biden was anti-British? However, you now suggest that American Liberals - presumably this grouping includes Biden? - are obsequious in their dealings with British Royalty.

Seems contradictory.

Not at all. The Markles are as anti-British as Biden is/was.

Helping Harry continue to betray/besmirch the British royal family is not a pro-Britain position. One of the reasons Trump dislikes the little scrote so much is the way he treated the queen, who Trump had a great deal of respect for.

Another of your private conversations?😉

In any event, that may or may not be the case, but it's not the answer to the question which I posed.

Powerful? Harry looks a wreck now.
