Recommend a good foot massage place.
There are a few in Central Festival and Terminal 21. It’s trial and error I’m afraid. Maybe ask for one who understands English so you can explain your pains. -

Pete Hegseth-Sec Def Nominee
Trump does not want a confirmation hearing. That's the issue of concern for me. The man may or may not be qualified, but his appointment should be subject to a review by the US Senate.Trump does not want anyone asking the man about his plans and qualifications. Secretary of Defense is a CEO type of position and this nominee has no big picture, no multinational management experience or training. The US General staff are well educated and trained. Logistics and management is on a whole different level in the US military. The first duty of the military is to the US Constitution, not to the President. -

New Safety Standards for NGVs: Automatic Gas Shut-off Valve Requirement in 2025
Another meaningless regulation, virtue signalling after a disaster. The 'recent incident' is the bus fire that claimed the lives of students when the driver ran off and left them to burn to death. The bus had 6 legal gas cylinders along with another 5 illegally installed cylinders hidden in the passenger compartment. How will this new (unenforced after a month or two) regulation ensure the safety of illegal, uninspected gas cylinders? -

Non-B expiring whilst out of country
Depends on how quickly you get back to Thailand in order to cancel your non-B extension. The fine for failing to cancel is charged at 500 baht per day from the day you stopped working (which is actually the day your permission to stay ended, not the day your extension expired). If you already capped out at the 20,000 baht after 40 days, then I wouldn't do anything. Sometimes it can be overlooked and you won't hear about it again. Better to wait until they fine you rather than volunteer to pay. Also if you have a DTV you possibly won't ever need to go to immigration so they would never know they are supposed to fine you, just do border bounces instead of trying to do the extension we know nothing about yet. So, if you are back soon after you stopped working, go cancel and pay the fine, but if you already maxxed out the fine, ignore it until they call you out. -

Minivan border runs to Cambodia still works?
There's only 2 Laos borders (Chiang Saen and Chiang Khong) that require you spend ONE night in Laos.
