Hi I am currently at work in Denmark but have lost my UK passport with a valid multi entry retirement extension valid til jul 25

If I can get a new passport whilst I'm in Denmark how do I get my Thai visa transfered to it ( I presume I may have to fly into Thailand visa exempt then visit immigration )

I have a photo on my phone of my passport info page with passport number etc but no photo of my Thai visa

Has anyone any experience of what the protocol is in this circumstance ?

Cheers

What do you actually have.

A multi entry non O retirement is a visa valid for one year.

An extension from a non O retirement with a reentry permit is different.

I have a 1 year retirement visa sorry not an extension

I did not think anywhere sold those anymore ?

OK, if you truly are still on the visa part of your Non-OA (assuming it is that), then your only hope is to enter Thailand visa exempt and then visit the MFA and see if they can re-instate your visa.

I'd be inclined to try and get a single non-O based on over 50 (aka retirement).  You presumably have 800k in a Thai bank?  Should be able to get an e-visa when you get your new passport.  Then you can enter on that and restart the extension process towards the end of the 90 day entry.

And if by some chance you actually did have a non-OA I'd forget that and still start over with the non-O, avoids the pointless insurance requirement.

Still not clear.

Sounds perhaps a Non O-A.

If still valid then that's a pity as you could have obtained a second year out of it..

Suggest you just start over.

You could enter Thailand visa exempt and subsequently obtain Non O (retirement) and 12 month extension + reentry permit to travel out/in Thailand

I notice your other threads eg

Seems that you are on extensions from a non O based on retirement and have a multi reentry permit?

In any event just start over.

Ok I managed to find a photo of my stamp in the lost passport & it's a non o issued in Thailand with multi entry reentry permit until July 25

It's not a non OA

Some folk say terminology not important. This thread shows it is.

The non O you obtained in Thailand gave a 90 day stamp. (it's used)

You subsequently obtained a 12 month extension and purchased (separately) a multi reentry permit.

Repeat what you did previously.

Enter Thailand visa exempt and obtain a non O at your immigration office. 60 days later with funds having been in bank for 2 months obtain a 12 month extension.

For the non O application don't be concerned that funds need to be shown as coming from abroad.

Your funds have  been in Thai bank account for some time and that requirement should be waived.

OR....

Obtain a non O retirement in the UK. Best option
