Dangerous fake spirits claiming lives from methanol toxicity are sending shockwaves through our neighbouring country. Numerous victims have been hospitalised, with several fatalities reported following consumption of these unlawfully produced alcoholic beverages tainted with methanol.

A British tourist revealed her narrow escape from death after a night out at a notorious Laos hostel turned into a near-fatal encounter with methanol poisoning. This same party spot has become infamous following the tragic deaths of six other holidaymakers, casting a dark shadow over Vang Viang, a village once famed for its boisterous backpacker scene.

Rayong: Candlelit Homework Triggers Fire, Destroys Family Home

A 13-year-old girl narrowly escaped tragedy after a candle she was using to do homework sparked a fire that engulfed her family’s two-story wooden home in Rayong. The house, located in Soi Bo Chimanto within the Tak Sin Maharaj community, had recently been disconnected from the power grid due to unpaid electricity bills.

Drunk Driver Causes Chaos Near Pattaya, Crashes into Vehicles & Wall Before Being Arrested

Traffic police from Nong Prue Police Station in Chonburi received reports of a pickup truck recklessly crashing into several vehicles. The incident began near Rai Wanasin Market, proceeded through Lub Lae Alley and Pattaya Rungrueng, and ended in Soi Mab Yai Lia 24, Nong Prue, Bang Lamung District, where the truck collided with a car and a house wall.

Navy Dispatches Helicopter to Rescue Five Crew Members of Sunken Fishing Boat

The Second Naval Area Command deployed a helicopter to rescue five crew members, including the captain of a fishing vessel, after their boat sank near Losin Island in Pattani Province. All five were safely brought back to shore following a distress call received by the Second Regional Thai Maritime Enforcement Command Center (Thai-MECC 2).

Shooting Over Loan Dispute Claims Four Lives in Samut Prakan
