Piers Morgan, host of *Piers Morgan Uncensored*, voiced his frustration with the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) for issuing a trigger warning on the upcoming movie *Wicked*. The warning highlights "potential discrimination against green-skinned women" as it relates to Elphaba, the film's iconic green-skinned character. It also mentions the "persecution of talking animals."

Reacting to the warning, Morgan didn’t hold back. “Why do we have to endure this cr*p?!” he exclaimed while addressing the matter on his show. Reading directly from the BBFC's advisory, Morgan shared with his panel of guests: “Hilariously, the British Board of Film Classification has issued a trigger warning on *Wicked* because of potential discrimination against green-skinned women and persecution of talking animals. The warning on their website says a green-skinned woman is mocked, bullied, and humiliated because of her skin color.”

Morgan expressed his disbelief, shouting, “A green-skinned woman! There is no such thing as a green-skinned woman in the real world!” Turning to his guests, he sought validation, asking, “Even Ernest [Owens] knows there are no green-skinned women.” Owens, agreeing with Morgan, replied, “No, I agree. There’s no green-skinned women.”

“Thank you!” Morgan responded emphatically, repeating, “Just for clarification, there are no green-skinned women in the world.”

Another guest, British journalist Esther Krakue, suggested that the BBFC’s decision might be a publicity stunt. “They have to be doing this as a P.R. move to get attention,” she speculated.

Morgan’s criticism was echoed across the Atlantic. Fox News Channel’s *The Five* also mocked the trigger warning, with co-host Dana Perino remarking, “It’s hard to believe that the U.K. used to rule the world. What has happened?”

Despite the backlash, *Wicked* has been making headlines for its success and promotional efforts. The film adaptation of the Broadway sensation has already shattered records, becoming the highest-grossing movie based on a stage musical with earnings of $263 million.

Starring Ariana Grande as Glinda and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, the movie has sparked online chatter with its promotional campaign. In one memorable interview moment, the two actresses speculated about their characters’ sexuality, hinting that they might be “a little in the closet.” In another interview, Grande became emotional while discussing a heartfelt scene and was captured holding onto Erivo’s long green fingernail, a clip that quickly went viral.

While *Wicked* continues to captivate audiences and fuel online discussions, the BBFC’s trigger warning has drawn mixed reactions, from ridicule to curiosity, leaving many to question where the line should be drawn in content advisories.

Personally, I despise PC. And social justice authoritarianism. I think it represents alot of what is wrong with contemporary culture, and especially America today. It is a major form of weakness, when you allow yourself to be easily offended, and take everything personally. Granted, there are things that can be perceived as offensive, but allowing yourself to be offended by tiny little things people say and do is a bit much! But, the people who are offended daily, by things others say, are just weak, and would benefit by growing thicker skin. Life can be rough and caustic at times, and for those of us who have grown thick skin, it is like water off a ducks back. No big deal, at all. Think what you want to think. It just does not mean anything to those with self esteem, and a sense of who and what they are. Granted, these are just my opinions, and some will take offense to them. LOL.

The US is by far the most tolerant country in the world when it comes to the whole trans, non-binary, amorosexual, decide whatever you want today, if it fits mentality. No other country is as loose, driftless, and as silly as the US and the UK. It is completely out of control. And now green skin too?

The notion that political correctness has “gone mad” is familiar to anyone who follows even vaguely any aspect of modern political or cultural life. The phrase, ostensibly referring to language or action that is designed to avoid offence or harm to protected groups, has become a sharp criticism. It is synonymous with a sort of cultural McCarthyism, usually committed by the left.

Yessir one can trace the decline of the US society by looking at the spread of social media and the crap on almost all of those shows whether organized or just for solo expression.  I am OLD! and have watched this decline which seemed to begin in late VN war era and has been moving seemingly on a DOWNHILL getting steeper and faster all the time.  Now, my friends and family in the US all complain about EVERYTHING on a daily basis.  I am glad I remain in Paradise! and can basically ignore 99% of the crap.  Happy December to all!

Is that bag of hot air still on the air?

Depends if you consider YouTube as being on the air.  He has a very popular YouTube channel and is a regular guest on The Five (Fox) and on UK TV.

Morgan doing a good job of highlighting sane people's disdain for the massive over-reach of the Woke movement.

Fantastic marketing by the film producers.  Such a good idea to play up to the world's woke stupidity.  They probably predicted some idiots would latch onto it, and those idiots took the bait hook line and sinker.  Well done!
