Trump administration admits man was deported to El Salvador mega prison due to 'error'
Yeah, the Trump administration has no contractual agreement with the El Salvador President involving money. El Salvador just let a Trump administration official into their prison randomly off the street to do a promotional political piece for the Trump administration. What a coincidence. Sure, Jan. Is that what you expect the American people to believe?!?!? 😭 -

Does living in Thailand drive you to drink?
My guess is that you couldn't handle life wherever you use to live. You probably were in the piss most of the time there too. So you sought a change in SE Asian. So instead of indulging in the culture, you involved yourself in the decadence that is easy enough to find here because this isn't an over-the-top-Christian-based-moralistic society where everyone suffers from angst and guilt like they do in the West. You brought your Western values with you and tried to carve out a spot in Thai culture that would meet your Western desires. What did you find? You found Thailand viewed through the Western bubble which enveloped you - so now you blame your problems on Thailand. Did you immerse into the culture including Buddhism? Let me answer that for you: "No!' So now you're "In Recovery" and "receiving excellent care from a brilliant team of doctors" who, knowing your past posts, are probably out of the price range of the rest of us peasants and low-lifes. bob/Don/whatever_you're_calling_yourself_now: You have problems. And whether you are in Kobe, or Bangkok, or New York, or London, or Dubai - you'll still have problems - it's not about your surroundings, they aren't the problem - the problem is inside you, and ever right now - you're not facing it and dealing with it. Start with "Humility" in your recovery. Until you find that, you're spinning your wheels, spraying mud everywhere, and going nowhere. I'd wish you luck, but you have yet to hit bottom. Until you do, it's a game to you. Get over yourself. -

Two Chinese Nationals Arrested for Illegally Selling Nitrous Oxide in Bangkok
Picture courtesy of Amarin. Police have arrested two Chinese nationals for the illegal possession and sale of nitrous oxide, commonly known as “laughing gas,” following a sting operation in the Huai Khwang district of Bangkok. Pol Col Porntep Chalermkiat, Superintendent of Sutthisan Police Station, along with Pol Lt Col Nitithorn Yodchotwanich, Deputy Superintendent of Investigation, directed the arrest of Ms. Li Shuyu, 29, and Mr. Ye Yanming, 26, both Chinese citizens. The operation was led by Pol Lt Pichet Khankuen of the Sutthisan Investigation Division. The suspects were apprehended in the car park of a hotel located in Soi Udomsuk, Samsennok Subdistrict, after police received a tip-off from an informant. The informant reported that a Chinese man and woman, aged between 26 and 30, were planning to deliver nitrous oxide to customers at the location using a white Honda City sedan. Upon arrival, officers discovered the vehicle with two individuals inside and a large quantity of items loaded in the back. The suspects were detained and the car was searched in the presence of a hotel employee who acted as a translator. Police seized the following evidence from the vehicle: 1. 21 unlabelled boxes of nitrous oxide, each containing four canisters 2. Four additional loose canisters of nitrous oxide 3. Six balloons intended for gas use In total, authorities counted 88 canisters of nitrous oxide. Through an interpreter, both suspects admitted ownership of the vehicle and the gas canisters. They were unable to produce any documents proving the legal acquisition of the items. The presence of English-language branding on the canisters also indicated they were likely imported. The suspects were informed of their rights and officially charged with “selling, importing, or ordering the import of modern medicine into the Kingdom without a permit,” in violation of Thailand’s Drug Act B.E. 2510 (1967). Following their confession, the pair were taken into custody and the evidence was handed over to investigators at Sutthisan Police Station for further legal proceedings. -- 2025-04-12 -

Look at me
I’ll tell the grocer that, when I’m in buying beer. What he doesn’t sell is shampoo. So I’ll have to start washing my hair with beer .
