I've got a little bit of empathy for Wray.  None for his boss (Garland) and even less than none for his boss, Biden.

Almost everyone who's ever worked in a hierarchy has experienced doing distasteful deeds because that's what the boss tells (and pays) you to do.  Wray wasn't steering the boat.  He was just rowing.

That said, he needs to go so the new management can investigate how deep the rot is, and was.

It seems under the Vacancies Act as above, Wray has handed Trump a nice going away present in that it would much better for Trump if Wray had waited until AFTER Patel had been confirmed (if he eventually is) to resign or be fired rather than on the (morning of) the day that Trump takes office.

While others would be qualified for an immediate interim appointment, Patel would not be.

Americans want accountability in the FBI , Doj ,  state & federal agencies .

Chris Christy’s recommendation of Wray was for the establishment .

Kash will be a agent for accountability!

Looking forward to his confirmation hearing!

The worst thing a decision-maker can do is to surround himself with 'YES' people.  It results in 'tunnel vision' and inability to think outside the box.  The second Trump presidency is already shaping up as an even bigger disaster than the first.

FBI= Famous but incompetent.  They are mostly book worms and computer geeks.  Very few have any real field experience.  Add, there are way too many law enforcement agencies in the U.S.  And, they mostly hate each other and do not trust one another.  The entire system needs a do over, updated training adjustments and renewed focus.

Maybe Kash was facetious, but he said fire the troublemakers at FBI in DC, send the rest of them out in the field to pursue criminals, and then reopen the building the next day as a Museum of the Deep State.
I kinda like this guy…
