Quite common for hotels and businesses around Thailand to openly refuse Israelis in the past.

Phuket is about 30% Muslim. They see what the Jews are doing in Gaza and are horrified by it.

Deflection from your claims, how surprising

Why do you think they have been singled out?

Just about any place that has Jews has a history of antisemitism

They just don’t get along with others, many of them don’t even like each other.

Its often that Anti Semites are just projecting .

They are usually not very popular people , not many people like them  , they don't have many friends .

They are aware that no one likes them and so they point their fingers at Jews , telling others how unpopular Jews are that that no one likes Jews .

As if to make themselves more popular

How many Christmas Cards will you be getting this year Malcolm ?

Well played :clap2:Israel to close Ireland embassy

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar announced that Israel would close its embassy in Ireland "in light of the extreme anti-Israel policy of the Irish government," according to a statement on Sunday.

In addition, Israel will open up an embassy in Moldova, with Sa'ar saying that "the time has come for Israel to have an embassy in Moldova" after years of diplomatic relations.

Ireland’s Move at the ICJ Redefining The Meaning of Genocide to get a Conviction

The official Irish Government press release is linked below:

https://www.gov.ie/en/press-release/1bfcd-tanaiste-announces-irelands-intervention-in-proceedings-at-the-international-court-of-justice/

This statement refers to Ireland’s view on the ‘interpretation of the convention’:

"Ireland’s view of the Convention is broader and prioritises the protection of civilian life – as a committed supporter of the Convention, the government will promote that interpretation in its intervention in this case.”

Israel has responded by stating it will close its embassy in Dublin (surely one of the more pleasant diplomatic duty posts), while curiously not closing its embassies in the capitals of other nations that have joined the petition to the ICJ, specifically Egypt, Spain and Mexico.

The fact that Israel is removing its embassy from Dublin while not doing so from other nations that are signatories to the ICJ petition is not widely reported, refer Guardian report I linked above.

It is however a curious anomaly.

I’m with Ireland on this, ‘Ireland’s view of the Convention is broader and prioritises the protection of civilian life ’ (refer Irish Government press release linked above) ought not to be contentious.

Israel is of course entirely within its rights to withdraw its embassy in response to Ireland joining the ICJ petition, why it hasn’t done so for Egypt, Spain and Mexico is a curiosity.

But perhaps Israel and its supporters should pause to consider Ireland’s point of view, not only is it just as entirely within Ireland’s rights to hold and express that view, it is also rooted in Ireland’s own history of oppression and hunger.

Well done to Ireland, learning from its own bitter history of oppression, hunger and the jack boot of occupation.

Exactly its within its right.

"Ireland's antisemitic actions and rhetoric against Israel are based on delegitimization and demonization of the Jewish state and on double standards," he continued. "Ireland crossed all the red lines to speak to Israel. Israel will invest its resources in promoting bilateral relations with the countries of the world according to priorities that are also derived from the attitude of the various countries towards it."

I note you keep making a reference to well done Ireland. Strange as I you can see Hamas are also very pleased. After all, attempting to change the legal definition on a charge when its midway through a trial is every terrorists dream. They forgot its the ICJ that defines an already defined charge, not at hoc countries that want decide to join. But I suggest you read the OP its all been covered already.

So you agree to changing the meanings of words to get convictions in Court ?

Change the meaning of the word "genocide" to mean *supplying trucks loads of food on a regular basis* and then find Israel guilty of genocide ?

Bookmarked. There was me believing you had morals and ethics. South Africa’s baseless evidence is not sufficient so Ireland comes along and tries to change the very definition of the meaning of Genocide. Not only that. They want to do it after the fact of the trial already starting and evidence from both sides already submitted.

you have the front to say well done Ireland. Sad.

The only country which is attempting to change the meaning of Genocide in the case. No wonder Israel is closing their embassy there.
