After Trump's 2016 victory, the two announced his firm would invest $50 billion in the U.S. Tokyo-based SoftBank is an investment company that focuses on financial, tech and energy companies.

Mr. Trump quickly took credit for Son’s commitment on Tuesday, writing on Twitter: “Masa said he would never do this had we (Trump) not won the (2016) election!”

Well Masa definitely wasn't going $100 billion with Biden in, he said that pretty explicitly.

I'd say hide-and-watch on this 1. Trump's smart enough to add a 51% American Ownership clause.

 

It would be a REALLY nice start IF they combined the amazing robotics tech from Japan, equipped with AI that could sample/scan soil, ground water and surface water and produce, non-partisan, non-political, non-everything but factual data about contaminates, impurities, 'tired soil' (over farmed, improper crop rotation), sources and mandatory solutions. That Farm Package congress is trying to pass by attaching it to the budget ($428B would cover our 51% and then some).

Anyway, $100B AND full access to ALL tech and data from Son and $428B with full access to all tech and data from our government (after proper vetting).

There are 100 ghost towns just in the wide open prairie of the US. Land is $100 an acre. Could build the manufacturing and research facilities right where they're going to be used.
