A 50-year-old man lost his life in a motorcycle crash while riding through a rubber plantation in Klong Yai Subdistrict, Laem Ngop District, Trat Province. The incident occurred at 12:30 on December 19.

Police officer Lt. Wacharin Kaewsaenain from Laem Ngop Police Station received a report of a fatal motorcycle crash and immediately coordinated with the Trat Buddhist Welfare Rescue Association to investigate the scene.

Upon arrival, rescue workers found the deceased, identified as Mr. Puk Tesdee, lying on his back on a dirt road within the plantation. His forehead had minor abrasions, and it was confirmed that his neck had been broken, leading to his death. Nearby was his red-and-black Honda Wave motorcycle, slightly damaged in the front.

The crash site showed a rubber tree root protruding from the ground, which had apparently caused the crash. The impact left visible marks on the root, with latex oozing out.

A search of the deceased’s belongings revealed a nearly empty bottle of white liquor. The victim’s father, who arrived at the scene after hearing the news, stated that his son had just left his house and was heading to the rubber plantation when the crash occurred.

Mr. Ekachai Manyasi, 49, the first person to discover the body, recounted that he had been riding his motorcycle into the plantation when he noticed another motorcycle lying on the ground. Upon closer inspection, he found a man pinned beneath the vehicle. He immediately moved the motorcycle off the victim and attempted to wake him, but there was no response. Checking for a pulse, he confirmed the man had already passed away.
