In the same boat, but did read somewhere...... "online reports between 15 and 7 days before due date".....so going to give that a go next time.

I've read that too, somewhere. Probably here on AN. Even so, I stuck with the older '15 days before' window even there was a chance of rejection.

I've just checked back on my last 5 online reports (Dec. 24 > Dec. 23) - I applied 2, 4, 1, 2 and 2 days before due date and have never been rejected by Khon Kaen office. It seems the "15 and 7 days before" isn't correct for KK at least.

Does not sound like you actually like being here? If the immigration rules are too onerous, try somewhere like Saudi, then you will know real pain in the a..

Your first 90 day report can not be done online after your visa renewal

Not in my experience.

For the last three years, or since the new online system was introduced, I have completed my 'first' 90-day report on-line after my annual renewal of my extension of stay.

My office is CW.

We often hear of this fantasy, if you have not got the confidence to deposit 4-800k or have money deposited every month you are probably too insecure to live here. I get 2% on my 800k, even if you got 5 at home the difference is not a lot, and that gets wiped out by the agents fee

Just do a TM-30 once a year, if no TM-30 by any hotel/house owner during the year.

Not done one for 7 years, why do one every year if at the same address?

Fantasy? So the 15% average that the S&P 500 has returned over the past 10 years is a “fantasy”. Got it 👍

Not quite so simple.

The IO at Kamphaeng Phet does not accept any agents.

For simple, try looking into a mirror.

Nice insult......

I live where there's no agents but guess what.......yip, agents deal with that too..... the list of benifits is endless but you're poor, never mind....

I tried this before, I posted on here that the reporting time from 15 days until the date, not the 7 days after. So the last one, I filed in the window stated. Didn’t work.

I have 17 successful reports, over two offices, there was even a time when the visa expiration date had changed, it was still accepted - for the last two, it has been rejected, two reasons given - Mai dai and Mai lue.

Agents are for the lazy, the clueless and those without the needed funds. Anyone can call themselves an agent, totally unregulated with no accountability. Almost parasites.

You are as wrong as you can be. Assuming you have a trustworthy agent (I used Nan Services), It is 100 percent worth paying extra.

Why? Just do the math.  Account for your time, the trips to the Bank, pictures, and all the other things, including pay Grab; it only costs a few thousand baht to pay the agent.

Just account for all your costs, and you will see.

Arick used the term "visa renewal" - which may not be a thing - and by which I assumed they meant an extension of stay.

I'm talking every year that you go to do your new extension You're not allowed to do the first 90 days online only the second and third.

Posted

I'm not talking about a new visa I'm talking about your extension your extension every time you do a new extension The first 90 days is not allowed online

Posted

Maybe call up immigration or post and copy and paste from their website but it says your first 90 days is not allowed well every time you go and do an extension it's your new extension You're not allowed to do the first 90 days.

Posted

Several users suggest that first-time reporting after a trip must be done in person and that mistakes in information provided can lead to rejection. Suggestions and alternatives include submitting early or using mail for reliability.

My online works but every time I take a trip and I try to do the 90-day report after the trip it is rejected.

Visa renewal Visa extension of stay whatever if you don't have the paperwork your visas canceled so it doesn't matter if it's a Visa extension or extension of stay if you don't have the paperwork your Visa is canceled. I don't even have a visa in my passport it just stamped with extensions.

So I've just renewed my extension, what you are saying my next 90 day report must be done in person?

Applying for annual extension has nothing to do with 90 day reporting.

There are some offices that do report at time of extension.

Several posts above are straight up incorrect.

If report window is open at time of annual extension then you can max that visit by doing the TM47 same visit.

Note: you do the extension first then the TM47.

At CW (mentioned earlier) you will attend different desks.

I just pick this one. Could pick several.

It's not visa renewal or visa extension.

It is 12 month extension to your permission of stay.

That is from a non O.

It was not cancelled it was used.

Subsequent passports do not have that visa transfered.

Visas are not transfered.

However information regarding that Visa is and your ongoing extension requirements are governed by that visa.

For example Non O-A vs Non O etc

I've never had a problem with an online 90 day after renewing my extension.  Only time I had to go in person until recently was the first 90 day in a new passport.  I did however get an online application rejected by CW about a week ago, it being the first since I returned to Thailand in October.  Now waiting to see if a postal application will be accepted (despite the rejection email for the online report saying fist 90 day after re-entry must be done in person).  Not holding out much hope but if they do accept it, it will save me some hassle, worth the 50 baht to see.
