Under an odd quirk of New York state law, a person found guilty of a felony or many felonies as in the case of the president elect, can't technically be an actual CONVICTED felon until sentencing.

Many have assumed he had dodge that bullet.
He has not.

The sentencing is scheduled for January 10.

His inauguration is January 20.

Ipso facto -- convicted felon president.

So he can add that to his honors such as first president ever impeached TWICE.

Great news! You can go back to using the retarded moniker convicted felon. Trump can run the country and be referred to as POTUS. Win-win.

I thought you would know already -- didn't you reach out for help with the current President, Biden?

I don't have anything backwards.  I understand what's going on and what the real issue is, for me.   The imposition of authoritarianism and the cancellation of free speech.  That's the current dream of what has now become the "Democrat Party."  And stoping it is the only issue that matters.  Lose free speech and you lose everything.  Maybe not tomorrow, maybe not this year or next, but it will happen.  Once you give the "Democrats" the power to shut you up when your ideas conflict with their agenda, it will be only a matter of time.  Authoritarianism run amok.

So, in a two party system, how do you save America?  There's only one way.  You vote against Harris.  And before that, against Hillary.  And you never again vote for any "Democrat" for any political office unless and until they start being real Democrats again and stop with all the nonsense.

In case you haven't noticed, a handful of real Democrats helped elect Trump.  RFK Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, Elon Musk.  They all left the Democrat Party once they realized what was at stake.  Even Trump himself was once a Democrat.

Your smoking to much and making up imaginary scenarios that aren't happening. Your spewing propaganda clear and simple.  When was the last time you lived in the USA?

Not sure where you get info from but post a link, if you can.  as it would be good reading. But post a real link to real news.

You're clearly a trump boy even though you claim your not.  In the meantime do some research on who do Trump is because you have it all backward and either ignorant to who and what he is and has done his whole life or in denial.

Where are you getting that free speech is cancelled, explain it with fact if you can

Spoken like a real maga cult member.

The cult are those who think these legal attacks are legitimate.  Of course the worst of them all was the false attacks on Brett Kavanaugh.  No court in the world would have even allowed charges based on the claims made against him but we had to allow it in his confirmation hearings.  The pain it must have caused his family is despicable and Cristine Ford should be in prison.  But she is probably a hero to cult members like yourself.

About Kavanaugh, I guess you  missed that Trump covered up a massive amount of evidence against him during his hearing. There is only one cult in American politics now -- the maga cult.

This is just what they do. It's classic gaslighting. You can't fight that with logic. Best to ignore.

Of course its deflection and gaslighting.  They regurgitate bs they hear and claim it as fact and it so sad that seeming smart people are so gullible.

Stupidity is rampant.

How else to explain Trump being brought back to power.

Sounds like the majority of Americans is stupid then, because they voted him in.

Are you American?

Yes.

Hard to disagree.

But the margin of victory was only 1.5 percent.

Thanks for your honest answer.

Now to be clear, I'm certainly not a fan from the person Trump, and never have been.

The reason why he was voted in again is not because they are stupid, but because they are tired of the liberals, and that is showing in about every country on the planet.

The people want their voice heard again. They are sick of the wokeness that has been going on for too long, and in the US voting for Trump was their only choice.

Well, I would put it another way.

The US has a two party system.

Not mandated by the constitution but that's the practical reality.

So in presidential elections they always have only a binary choice.

Yes, globally people currently for the most part want change and are rejecting incumbents.

The democrats particularly Biden made a huge mistake.

Had he not run and let it be a normal primary system most likely the democrats would have nominated more of an outsider candidate not locked into the Biden association.

So Biden in dropping out so late leaving no time for a competitive primary, created a near impossible long shot for the insider of insiders, his flippin' vice president.

However, I still think bringing an insurrectionist obviously authoritarian to power was a very stupid and dangerous choice.

But I do understand how it happened. Sure.

But the pre-election polls all showed how everyone was in favor of Harris, while even blind Freddy could see the polls were rigged and paid for.

Same like the 2020 polls, they were rigged and paid for, but let's not go there again, as it has been done to death already.

Polls aren't elections.

Polls were mixed.

You said you weren't a Trump guy but based on your narrative here, you're obviously being less than honest.

No, people in the US are not tired of liberals, they are tired of leftists.

The problem was not Biden, the problem was the leftist policies.

The gist of this class of person is "I don't like Trump but..." which mostly means they really love Trump. Witness how they turn on a dime when it comes to Trump strongly endorsing the H-1B program when it's clear that it's been massively abused to displace American workers.

You really have such a poor comprehension ability.

Maybe try to read my previous post, and comprehend it. I said I'm not a fan of Trump, and never have been, but he happens to be the candidate for the party people want.

Polls are mixed? Weren't you one of those guys who said Trump made no chance against Harris?

I just looked up the election results, and while Trump won the popular vote by only 1.5%, Harris won the popular vote in only 16 states.

Please remind me how many states the US has

I never said that.

In the electoral college it's not about the number of states, but the number of electoral votes.

So winning California and New York is massive.

Winning Delaware is trivial.

Yes Trump did win a decisive electoral vote victory, but no landslide in either the electoral or popular vote, and he didn't even make it to a majority (50 percent).

I didn't mention electoral votes.

Harris won the POPULAR vote in 16 of the 50 states. So she lost in 34 states

You didn't mention it.

I did.

Because the number of states is irrelevant.

But I see now you're just into playing silly hair splitting games and have no interest in a sincere discussion which I seeded with my reply about the binary choice.

So waste of my time to further engage.
