New tablet for 2k THB. Fake specifications?

Featured Replies

Android 12

12GB RAM

10 core processor

512 GB Storage

keyboard, case and mouse

For 1600-2600 Baht.

Are the specifications real?

Or have they been manipulated to show that they are bigger and more powerful than they really are?

My eyesight has deteriorated over the last decade so I would like a large size. Some of them are 11 inches. It seems okay.

I don’t take photographs so I don’t care about camera quality. Though being able to Zoom video call family in America without lagging and jumping and freezing would be good.

Watching youtube videos without any lagging and jumping would be important.

Reading PDF books.

Browsing news websites on Chrome.

Connects to our house wifi and can connect bluetooth headphones and keyboard.

I think that would be it.

They have copied the names of brands but changed one letter. Opp0 or Sumsang or Hua Wel etc.

Has technology developed so fast that tablets with these specs can be sold so cheaply?

Or are they fake specifications?

This one looks identical but is listed as 16GB RAM.

Model: pro11

System: Android 12

CPU:Snapdragon 865

Processor: Octa-core(ARM 2*A75 2.0G + 6*A55 2.0G)

GPU: G52-3EE-8core @ 850MHz

RAM:16 GB

ROM:512 GB

Package included(Official standard):

1* Realme Tablet P70

1*USB-C cable

1*charger ( 5V2A )

1*OTG connector

1*user manual

1 ×case

1 × screen protector

1 × keyboard

1 × stylus pen

1 x earphone

1x phone holder

2100THB.

Lots of 5* reviews with photos.

But the reviews are written in Thai and all the photos show tablets with Chinese characters. That is suspicious.

Are these things real? With real specifications?

Did you or your family ever buy one? How was it for the tasks listed above?

It means that somebody doesn't know how to use their spacebar correctly, and possibly has a broken caps lock button.

See if it exists on LAZMALL.....if not, probably fake/copy.

Of course it's fake.  But it's so cheap why not just buy it?

Are you joking?

Look for android tablet i.e. in Lazada and lots of cheap options come up.

Are they real? Why not? It's cheap to produce them.

They have fake names, as mentioned. They are no name copies, not brand names.

The question is if the specifications are likely real, or have been adjusted to show incorrect information.

If people have bought one, please post your experiences.

I just looked on that website.

Do Android require payment for companies to use them, similar to windows? Or is Android free to use for everybody?

https://www.lazada.co.th/products/2024-xiaoml-m15-12-16gb1024gb-20000mah-2-5g-android-gaming-i5193374037-s22059911162.html?

The question is about the specifications.

Snapdragon 870

Octa-core (ARM 2*A75 2.5G + 6*A55 2.0G)

G52-3EE-8core @850MHz

Ram: 16GB

Are those specifications likely real or likely much lower and programmed to show those numbers?

I think there is more broken in your head, since you continue to carry on with this thread.

I've changed my mind. You should buy one.

When I have knowingly bought fake Chinese stuff from Lazada, mainly clothing, they use original photos from the genuine items, cut and paste descriptions from genuine websites. The stuff is fine but obviously fake and lower spec   So I would think it is highly likely that you won't get as advertised.

It seems that you literally cannot help some people. They need to learn by themselves.

What does "the stuff is fine" mean?

It means, for instance, that my 900 baht Birkenstock (fake) shoes although of a lower quality then the 4000 baht originals, are perfectly functional and indistinguishable from the real thing without a side by side comparison.

Sure, that's what the thread's about.

Do the no brand Android tablets typically have the specifications they list, or are they programmed to show incorrect information. For example, it has 2GB of RAM but is programmed to show 16GB of RAM.

As mentioned, it's so cheap for the Chinese factories to churn out parts by the billion, and Android is free to use etc.

...and how does that relate to a Tablet?

So then it's not fine, is it?

They are fake,   they are slow,  they are junk ....  I know, I've had a couple of them.  The one I got last year is junk, I couldn't even install LINE app on it as it didn't support it apparently.

I have a couple of fold case keyboards and all I wanted was a tablet to do spreadsheets on with the keyboard connection,  but none worked with the keyboard ... they are useless.

Likely Android 7 dressed up to be a later version. But it seems they really want one. So perhaps we should let him have his wish.
