24,000 BTU AC Recommendation?

Featured Replies

The owner of the condo I rent has agreed to install a new AC and is willing to spend up to 20,000 baht plus installation costs.  It is understandable that she wants to go cheap as the 30 year building lease is up in about 32 months and the leasehold condo building on Crown Property land in Bangkok will be demolished.

I saw some TCL, Haier and a couple of other brands of  24000 BTU invertors at around this price and as cheap as 17,000 baht.  Any suggestions/recommendations for specific models?  Thanks.

Go with TCL inverter, i bought a 18k BTU one and it's very good, whisper quiet, others have said the same, my old one was 24k BTU Samsung

Next time I will try TCL inverter.

I have 2 24,000 BTU Panasonics and one 18,000 BTU Panasonic.

I would NOT buy these again.

Dealing with Panasonic is extremely stressful here.

Life is just too short.

So, better option might be to go with TCL if TCL is as good and CHEAP as many have said it is.

Then, if something goes wrong.....you can just discard it and get another one, and buy two or even three for the same cost as a Panasonic unit.

Maybe this is the best way to buy ACs in Thailand?

I bought HAIER in May, and I'll never buy another expensive Japanese brand:
