I have invested as much I want here, and no more, because I se no improvements. To make it better for me, I need to invest in better facilities, and I'm not willing to do that. 

I would welcome if the streets and sidewalks would be better in Thailand. But by now I am so used to it that I walk carefully and expect potholes in the streets.

On my last visit "back home" the street quality was mostly good. But speed limits were often reduced to 30km/h. I understand that those limits are ok for little side streets with playing children. But on larger streets which everybody uses to get into the city center it's just annoying.

As much for safety the speed limits, it is because of air quality, both emissions and also dust from tires, street wear etc
