British dad mysteriously vanishes in Bangkok
Agree and I am sure everyone hopes he is safe and well but historically how many times has this happened and the person who is an adult has just decided to extend their holiday. Obviously doesn't want to tell the misses who he went on holiday without in the first place or his family as they will probably tell her. But I am sure all joking aside nobody is wishing any harm to the lad. -

Thai airline flight makes emergency landing in Phuket
That is the meaning of the plural engines, isn't it? Already at the time of WW2, some B-17 bombers came back alive to the base in UK on single engine(3 others destroyed during air-to-air combat over Nazi air space). -

What USA city for Medicare?
Yeap...figuring out when you will croak requires time travel which is probably pretty hard to do.😜 Yes, the penalty percentage stops once you enroll....that is when Medicare calculates the lifetime penalty percentage. Example: if you enroll say three years late then that means a 30% higher Part B premium penalty until you croak. Like if you enrolled today typically Medicare takes the current standard Part B monthly premium ($185) and increases it by the penalty percentage of say 30% (approx $55).... so your monthly premium would be $185+$55 = $240. Fast forward say 5 years when the standard premium might be $250....then increase that by 30% which is $75 added to the $250 for a monthly premium of $325. And when trying to estimate lifetime monthly premium sayings if not enrolling in Part B, well, be sure to be realistic with yourself in estimating the "inpatient & outpatient" costs without any medical insurance coverage. Medical costs can be HUGE even for relatively medical issues. While Part A may do a fairly good job of covering costs while an "inpatient" once you leave the hospital/nursing facility/hospice you are now in "out patient" care which Part A generally does not cover and Part B coverage begins. https://www.medicare.gov/providers-services/original-medicare/part-a https://www.medicare.gov/providers-services/original-medicare/part-b -
