And according to you that is always the same in every clinic and hospital in Thailand?
I visited only a few hospitals and a few clinics over the 30 years that I live in Thailand. Maybe you visited hundreds of them or you researched this in detail.
Anything in that Geneva convention that says its OK to stab and drive over the very people that gave you aid and comfort? Fact is it's got out of hand, it would appear there are more economic seekers than asylum seekers and many more Islamists with a chip on their shoulder than we can handle, they won't be content until they have dragged us down to their level.

Assuming this money is currently sat in a UK Bank. A UK Bank statement from the end of December 2023, will allow you to remit the amount of money on that statement into Thailand, free of tax.
Classed as Pre January 2024 savings.
With respect that is very bad advice, you should always, always, always have a good lawyer with you in court for anything important in Thailand unless you read and speak legal Thai as well as a Thai lawyer.
