When I was living in condos, and guesthouses....

Imagine how many millions would be lost every year to the cosmetic industry if people were just comfortable in their own skin.

If you look like what you aren't (think of what 'she' looks like when she's just waking up... no makeup... and then the amazing transformation!)

If you smell like what you aren't (actually, the pheromones our bodies produce 'should' be enough to get a mate. If not, you're not mating material according to Mother Nature.)
Perhaps the reason one has to pay to get laid is that girls really don't like the smell of all those chemicals.
 

Most body odor comes from bacteria breeding in your sweat. One or two showers a day with 'real' soap, (not the chemical concoctions most body washes contain,) eliminates that and there won't be any offensive smell.

Jeez! I thought that April first had come early.

 

Of course it's a big leg-pull. Everyone here in Thailand, at least in Isaan, knows it matters not what sweety-pie fragrance you smell of for getting the ladies. Best thing is to smell like nature intended us to. All this chemical stink is not even in the race.

 

Of course; a bit of dosh helps. And the trick of getting the ladies, is to look at her lips when she is talking, and when you talk, look into her eyes.

 

Seems to me, that that many farang here, need educating on what Thai ladies really want. Nivia for men! Dear me!

But the big question remains, besides snatching and sniffing all those Chinese girl owned panties, what else were you doing with them once you had them safely in your possession? We can only imagine. No need to explain further. Just post photos with captions of what you were doing with them and we should be able to do the math ourselves.

Deodorant just covers up the sweat smell. Anti perspirant like Sure or Right Guard is what most people use. The problem with a lot of people is that they may shower but don't change their shirt or wash it properly. It's old sweat that skinks not fresh perspiration.

Sorry, I won't try to prove anything with links to scientific studies.

Admittedly, many of my resources are lunatic fringe crackpots.

 

Not everything in nature is good for you. Some mushrooms can kill you.

But I'm not convinced that any chemicals concocted in a lab are not bad for you either. 

 

I don't eat lab grown meat.

I don't even wear synthetic clothing anymore. Has to be cotton.

That's how I roll.

Yes.

Choose cotton, and, most likely, Mennen and similar articles will be less needed, or not needed at all.

Synthetic fibers are not suitable for clothing.

(products such as GorTex excepted, maybe, and other outerwear materials)

 

Obviously, once people switched to wearing synthetic fibers, the Mennen-type products went through the roof, at least in the USA, and maybe Canada.  Doubt they care in Mexico, however.

 

 

 

Also, it's my view that the more you use (deodorant), the more you must use, and the more you stink.

Just another reason why I stopped using it (other than to sniff), back around 1982.

My impression is that it was the US GI in the trenches, or in the barracks, that might have something to do with the huge increase in deodorant use.

Maybe we will need to first consult some industry sources in order to get to the bottom of this.

We need more objective research.

 

And, we definitely need a GRAPH showing fragrance and deodorant usage from just before the Depression Era, until Present.

I just wonder how many hobos were wandering around spritzing perfume under their arms, and maybe other places.

 

Meanwhile:  My best word of advice is to WEAR COTTON.  Shower Daily (two times better), Don't use Mennen, or any similar deodorant product, other than to sniff, and....MOST IMPORTANTLY:  Stay away from others who do not follow these rules.

 

ALSO: The more you use, of any deodorant product, the more you stink. So let this be a word to the wise.
