I'm bemused by this ranting lunatics comments and suggestion that Ukraine should have not fought against Russia's invasion .....

Can someone please explain how that is acceptable ....   and what if some other county invaded the US ,  would he still apply that silly comment   ?

I think the main thing here is that Trump says things which he thinks his MAGA fanboys like and which aggravates "the left". And maybe he wants to play mind games with Putin and others.

Does this have to make sense? No. So, I suggest don't even try to find any logic in what he says.
