Urgent - Bood Donations Required - Ubon ratchathani (city)

- major accident in Laos involving foreigners

- many patients being transferred to Sun Pasit Thiprasong Hospital in downtown Ubon Ratchathani

- blood donations required (all types)  My comment:  probably rh Negative blood types especially required

Update:

This was a serious bus accident in Salavan province, across the border from Ubon Ratchathani. Forty persons injured, thirteen of them seriously.  The latter are in the hospital mentioned in my previous post.  More information is available on nationthailand.com, and from Lao media.

That's the route I was going to take via Pakse to see water falls.... Didn't go, won't go. I get chills...
