Man Falls to His Death from Building in Pathum Thani

A woman in shock discovered her boyfriend had fallen to his death from a four-storey building in Pathum Thani after neighbours initially ignored a loud noise on the roof.

 

Police Lieutenant Woranchai Sukying, Deputy Inspector of Investigation at Khlong Luang Police Station, was notified of the incident in Soi Khlong Luang 274 (Soi Khun Phra) in Khlong Nueng Subdistrict, Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province. Alongside investigators, forensic experts from Thammasat University Hospital, and rescue volunteers from Ruamkatanyu Foundation, he rushed to the scene.

 

The incident occurred outside a four-storey apartment block. The victim, 42-year-old Mr. Kittiwat from Roi Et Province, was found lying face down on the road near the dormitory.

 

Ms. Wanadee, 32, a resident of the building, reported hearing a noise resembling something falling on the roof of the first floor. Assuming it to be insignificant, she didn’t investigate until someone from below called to inform her that “Por,” the victim, had fallen. She rushed downstairs to find him dead.

 

Another witness, Ms. Praipraisri, 31, identified herself as the victim’s girlfriend. She stated that they lived together in the building and revealed that he suffered from a heart condition. The victim worked the night shift, finishing at 06:00, but no signs of distress were apparent before his death. “He was usually cheerful and never mentioned any problems that worried him,” she added.

 

Lieutenant Woranchai confirmed that authorities documented the scene and instructed the Ruamkatanyu Foundation to transport the body to Thammasat University Hospital for an autopsy.
