I don't know anything about cryptocurrencies, but if 1 bitcoin is worth $105,000, how would I use it to but a beer, and how would I get my change? Thai Bt 3.5 million! Also, with regard to the OP, how many tourists are buying property?

A satoshi is the smallest element of a bitcoin and a satang is the smallest element of a baht so they are not worlds apart at the moment 🤣

1 Thai Baht is approximately equal to 28 Satoshis and 100 satang so not too much dissimilar to their own currency and other currencies that the Thais have become assimilated to 🙂

The only thing I would correct myself on here you could go out at 7 o'clock at night with $100 worth of Satoshis/Bitcoin in your mobile phone, by the time you come to pay your bill at the end of the night you will be in debt with the unpredictability of the stupid fake money market

Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra

Current Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, or Emperor Thaksin Shinawatra.  For a guy who came back to Thailand to "stay out of politics" and "live out his elderly years surrounded by his grandchildren" he sure seems to be at the center of the Thai political scene.

How many tourists pay with Crypto?

If the new tax on remittances starts to bite, perhaps retired expats will move to crypto to pay for things.

Crypto money is not fraud and it’s real.

A Ponzi scheme at best, and very clever one at that, backed by nothing but hot air, literally, all those CPU fans buzzing in air conditioned rooms...

But off you go mate.

I'd rather throw my shekels into tangible companies that actually make things!
