British man’s Thailand trip goes from heaven to prison hell (video)
Given that the photos are the same as a January story about a guy banged up for overstay, I wonder if Thailand can sue the Mail for damaging their tourism business? -

Kasikornbank: Verify SIM card name by April 30
Certain SIM's are only available if you are a Thai national or "hold a work permit" (standard line from DTAC/True/AIS customer services officer). So, the foreigner has a SIM in a trusted Thai friend's / partner's name for convenience. You could have asked politely but instead you asked in a condescending interrogative manner as ever. Could you tone it down? -

Wise ordered to pay $2.5mn in US for misleading fee advertising
I used to get free swift transfers (and safe deposit box) before Chase took over WaMu bank, now I have to pay US$45. You can still get it “free” if you let them do the dollar-baht conversion, but that’s a loser. I can do online swift transfers from my bank’s app or website, an even with the $45, it is still cheaper than wise for larger transfers. -

Norway’s Energy Crisis Is a Warning the UK Cannot Ignore
It is not an energy crises, it is a political crises. If we just built 10 gas power plants we could use our clean energy on our self, instead of exporting and empty our resources, so Eu and Uk look better on the emissions graphs. Pure stupidity and also making share holders rich. It used to be energy for people ar cost price, but somehow somebody managed to f.ck us over with help of Eu deals, making other people rich. Same as r the wind power, and solar panels they are forcing on us. Rightfully so, we all (the majority) will vote for the right wing party who promises to change everything, but really doesn’t change anything, because they where part of it from the beginning. Anyway, it is a political crisis, not energy problem for Norway
