Can anyone recommend a good seller for getting Tanaosri Kan Daeng (RD1) flowers?

There was a lot talk about the four Thai strains in the local media some time ago, but this particular CBD heavy strain seems to be rare in the shops. Has anyone ever seen or even tried RD1?

I'm not aware of any thai strains with a high cbd content. Happy to be proven wrong though.

They didn't write "high". They wrote "CBD heavy". The strain(Tanao SriKan Daeng) mentioned might have perhaps 5% CBD and perhaps 0.25% THC. CBD heavy. 😊

Cannot say that I've seen it of late.

High level of cbd....better ?

I stand by my comment. I've never come across it.

Not really. CBD heavy does not equate to 'high level of CBD'. Just means that on balance, it's heavy on the CBD side.

You can stand by your comment if you like. Doesn't change the facts. Is 5% a 'high level of CBD'? You'll get different perspectives on that, but CBD heavy remains an appropriate description.

But at least we are agreed that neither of us have seen it of late. Not sure if the Lampang Farm or another company whose name(Green something) I have forgotten but is defunct anyway, had it back in '22.

5 percent is hardly heavy considering there are now cbd strains topping mid 20s.

It's a myth that thai cannabis holds those levels of cbd.

Exactly. So 'high level of CBD' is not an appropriate description, The original description was a CBD heavy strain, as opposed to heavy CBD.

RD1 was laboratory tested at 5% CBD.

ST1 tested at 6% THC & 6% CBD.

TT1 at 5% THC

WA1 at 8% THC.

The OP wants RD1. Maybe you can recommend some other strain to him.

I don't believe the lab tests. Done many of my own and never had anything like that.

I recommend Charlotte's angel for good cbd.

Op if you want access to good cbd please message me and I will help you out.

I'm just going with my many years of personal experience. Take it all how you want.

It doesn't matter anyway. I'm sure you tested at a couple of % less, but that is not important to the original poster. I guess they wanted to try that particular 'heritage' strain. 3% or 5% is likely wholly unimportant to them.

No.

My guess is that this CBD-dominant strain is probably, if at all, grown for CBD extraction. And Hemp is probably more efficient for CBD production? And the market for CBD-dominant flower is probably quite small, as is apparent by the lack of availability.

As mentioned there are other CBD-dominant strains, and 1:1 strains, available in flower format here.

Some of the other 'designated' landrace strains are available here.
