Got any actual link to back up your claim? And are you assuming that the courts will uphold all or most of  DOGE's cuts?

I just posted the link to the debt clock which is tracking D.O.G.E.

You fundamentally don't understand what is happening with D.O.G.E. Every comment you make proves your ignorance.

"DOGE aims to cut as much as $500 billion annually in wasteful spending across the executive branch departments."

I think it's astonishing that any sane person would object to their governments spending being audited.

By the way, 15 days into the Trump Presidency, and D.O.G.E. has already saved the Treasury $56 billion so far.

Now I see the doge portion of that rather busy website. And given that there's no explanation of what these alleged savings are, and no disclosure  who the people are behind this site, why should anyone believe what they claim?

I find it extraordinary that anyone could claim that there's anything authoritative about the anonymous figures who run this website.

I think only a fool would believe that a politically biased ignoramus should do the auditing. An ignoramus who claimed that he could cut at least 2 trillion dollars from the budget. Even though the entire discretionary portion of the budget is less than that. There actually are professionals who are trained in auditing and forensic accounting who can do that.

USAID - there are six named D.O.G.E. geniuses pouring through this department line by line. Aged 19 to 24, Dems are calling them little boys.

Translation - they are cr*pping themselves as these young men are ripping USAID apart. $20,000 to fund a LGBT comic book in Peru among many other ridiculous grants.

But here's the real problem - Dems are saying USAID is only 1% of the Federal budget. True.

But D.O.G.E has only had access for days, and Trump was inaugurated 2 weeks ago. Give it 18 months and we'll see how much waste and abuse is going around the Fed budgets.

The problem for Dems is that they are downplaying these "small amounts" of money. By the midterms the GOP will be able to demonstrate at least half a trillion of savings.

So what will the Dems say then? "Oh, it's only half a trillion?" But here's where the party will really start.

Wait till D.O.G.E get their hands on the Medicaid and Medicaire contracts. They're going to uncover wild overcharging to the US government and consumers.

Good luck trying to win the midterms if Trump crashes the cost of medication. I predict a midterm landslide.

I'm absolutely flooded by Lefties who actually want tons of waste, fraud, and abuse instead of wanting a smaller government which is significantly less reliant on taxpayers and as well, who doesn't act like the world's sugar daddy while ignoring the domestic infrastructure, the welfare of its own natural born citizens, and sending hundreds of billions USD abroad when it can't even balance its own budget.  So goodbye USAID and good riddance.

My guess are that those in congress most vocal regarding USAID are those who are receiving the most kickbacks funded though NGO and other USAID corporate welfare recipients who funnel money back to these congress-critters campaign slush funds. I can't wait until DOGE takes up campaign finance reform and term limits.

As usual, allegations about "tons of waste and fraud" What does "tons" mean in relation to the federal budget. This is just emotionalism. And it's always entertaining to see a Trump supporter bemoaning the budget while their guy not only wants to extend the unpaid for tax cuts he got passed last time he was in office, but he wants to create even more.  And as for sending money abroad it's a tiny portion of the budget. But I'm sure that China is rejoicing in the cutbacks the US is making.

Senator Schmitt from Missouri , who also was instrumental in exposing

Missouri vs Biden.

He brings more awareness & receipts to dem reckless spending!

- $20 million on a Sesame Street show in Iraq - $56 million to boost Egyptian and Tunisia tourism - $40 million to build schools in Jordan - $150k for Korean kids to visit DC - $11 million to tell Vietnamese to stop burning trash.
