February 9, 20251 yr I have a new Nespresso machine on order, wondering what milk other board members prefer to use in their coffee? Thanks in advance.
February 9, 20251 yr On the rare occasion I do, I use heavy cream if making a Cappuccino. 99.9% of the time, it's simply black coffee in the morning.
February 9, 20251 yr Whole milk or cream. It is such a minimal amount stupid I think to use alternatives.
February 9, 20251 yr Here I use Tea Pot. In the US I use Carnation or whatever else is real milk based, unlike here.
February 9, 20251 yr For simple americano with milk i use Thai Denmark UHT, if you are having latte etc and trying to make it really good you need to use something else, see what the good shops use
February 9, 20251 yr Tibetan goat milk, or when unavailable, coffee mate; although I believe that's not a very healthy alternative
February 9, 20251 yr Personally I don’t defile my coffee with anything though the wife uses oat milk.

'Original formula of recombined milk developed to become the fitting combination of Thai-style tea, coffee and other well loved beverages with deliciousness, lightness, creaminess and smooth texture without masking other flavours.'

Back to the OP, I like the fact that, in Asia, I can buy milk in tiny single serving boxes. I use it all the time in coffee and my morning oatmeal. Back home, I binned most milk because it went bad before I used it. It's hard to find milk in a box back there. I just look for the stuff that's not advertised as "low fat" or "vegetable based". They all seem to taste fine. Edit: On an aside, I prefer my French press to the zoomy coffee machines. I loved the $1000 machine at the office but we had a lady that spent half an hour a day cleaning it.

February 10, 20251 yr "Australia's Own" Skimmed long life milk in a carton - readily available in supermarkets and MAKRO in Siem Reap.
February 10, 20251 yr Popular Post Meiji whole milk. Widely available here in CM. For my money, it tastes richer and better than the others I've tasted.
