February 24, 20251 yr I always use regular "Cow milk". Now I don't have fridge in hotel. I never tried these new milks from almonds etc. What would be similar to real milk and how long they stay OK in warm room? Thanks.
February 24, 20251 yr Most of the alternative milks are not refrigerated at purchase. Just check the markets they have oat, soy, almond on the shelves in small and large cardboard type containers not refrigerated. Probably buy the smaller size so you can dispose after consumption.
February 24, 20251 yr Author Are saying when I open one I can't store it in warm room at all? I use it to oath meals & coffee so I buy a littre at least.
February 24, 20251 yr I would go with 'Thai Danish' UHT milk, and the 250ml size, as you easily finish one at a sitting. Or a bit more 'hassle', maybe milk powder, and mix as you need. For powder, 'Dairy Rich' is quite good. Not a fan of other milks, and would only drink cow's milk, hence those 2 choices.

February 24, 20251 yr If the OP just wants coffee, buy tins of it with milk already included, such as Nescafe Latte. The smallest six-pack of milk in cardboard is another option.
February 24, 20251 yr Dairy Rich milk powder, available everywhere and on Lazada. Around 220bth for 7-10 litres. Tastes just like real milk, make as little as you like, or just stir in a teaspoon into your tea/coffee. https://s.lazada.co.th/s.uqwpy Full cream is best!

It doesn't state on that link.

February 25, 20251 yr Author I'm looking an other solution; A woman who has given birth recently 🙂 Since I'm already paying for 2 she can move in or come by when I need fresh milk...
February 25, 20251 yr I drink almond milk nowadays. I actually prefer it over cows milk as it doesn't leave that coating on the tongue that cows milk has but has a clean finish. Goes great over granola in the AM, and I drink my coffee black. Seems to last forever unopened and then in the fridge for months.
February 25, 20251 yr Author Yeah, cheap Charley, cheap place but lot going on. I only spectate. Quite amusing. The name is amusing too: Named after Catholic priest Padre Burgos. Later Only "P". https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&sca_esv=fc28f3849faf5ac3&q=p+burgos+street&udm=2&fbs=ABzOT_CWdhQLP1FcmU5B0fn3xuWpIgVFCTcbZI9VMGzNoV0iOQWvoN6wK1A8aX6zC3f7flYG5dk5UCwm9C_CD3doy6LGVBg5lZCPzwvTvaO_D3i5FS1mcQ19heXiOo22uL68KjyM3jiKNBH_35hvBQMsBg6-X9roYPNStj73KaSE2zZJPXgXPdY-A1i_NlqlHf-oXjBbc3wREmBdNt5poSSmU-DOgcuwZw&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjO-uqGgt-LAxVYsFYBHde1BHUQtKgLegQIDxAB&biw=1267&bih=580&dpr=1.5
February 25, 20251 yr Are you a long-term stay at this hotel? If so, just buy yourself a mini fridge to keep things cold. The cheapest one on Lazada is only 600 baht.
