I used an automated gate to exit a few weeks and plan to return in a few days, so I do not have an exit stamp in my passport. Will I have to obtain a new TM30 at Jomtien if I am returning to my regular residence in Pattaya for which I already have a TM30?

It all depends on the office. The office in Ratchaburi that I use has said they dont require a new TM30, unless you have a new passport.

I’m in Pattaya and always do once I return. It may not be necessary but I’d rather not take the chance. Easy enough to do.

At Jomtien you only need a new TM30 if returning to the same residence, only if you get a new passport. I found this recently when I needed a residence certificate for my driving licence.
