Many foreigners quote 15 days before and up to 7 days after the due date for in person reporting, which is not the same as 'within' 15 days before, or 'within' 7 days after as Immigration state.

If quoting before and after dates, it should be 14 days before the due date and 6 days after the due date.

https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/90days-report/ provides an example that seems to have a different interpretation.

Their example:

Due: 27th September

15 days early (12th September) has a checkmark for can submit online. (Although it appears Bangkok Immigration photoshopped/added that date as being allowed after the original image had been created, as that checkmark is smaller/less vibrant than the other days' checkmarks.)

Also, they say online submission should be "not less than 7 days before the due date" - but 7 days early (the 20th) is marked as forbidden. This again appears to be a subsequent photoshop/change by Bangkok Immigration, as it looks like that 'X' appears on top of a previous green checkmark that is just barely visible by the top right of the X.

Was this your first TM47 after coming back from outside to Thailand? Which immigration office? Because I just read the last handful of pages and others in recent months still seem to be commenting that the online system doesn't work for the first submission after your most recent arrival in Thailand. (Maybe they're referring to Bangkok and you use a different immigration office?)

For another recent data point, https://www.facebook.com/groups/destinationthailandvisa/posts/1981045682418378/ from February 10 says their first 90 day online was rejected.

As I discovered in 2023, it all depends on if you're out of the Country at the time a 90 day report was due, or if you're out in-between 90 day due dates.

Going out after doing a 90 day online report and returning before the next 90 day report was due, I had no issue completing that report on the due date.
Going out and missing a 90 day report due date, I found after counting 90 days from the date of entry and submitting I received a message to visit my IO and had to file in person.

There is no link between the 90 day and entry/exit portals.

If you miss an online 90 day report by being out of the Country, the IO has to manually reset the due dates again.

That 15 to 7 day before the due date is as far as I'm aware only specific to CW Immigration.

Other IO's still use and conform to the original 14 days before, up to the due date calendar.

I have always, and still continue to submit my online application the day before the due date.

I normally do my 90 day online.

At the time of my last 90 day I had been sick and forgot about it!

I used a visa agency to get my 90 day and paid 2000 baht fine.

I got my 90 day which is valid until the 15th. of this month.

Yesterday I applied online for my next 90 day but the application is still pending and it seems to have been cancelled with a red cross.

What should I do?

I'm not even sure that it applies to CW. I can certainly remember CW changing it so the question arises when did they change back to the old way of doing it.

I worry that this belief is one of those strange untested myths that have cropped up on this forum.

Certainly when I applied at the last minute I have always received an approval. The problem is I can't remember when I last did that.

Don't do anything. If it says pending, it's still pending. That red X that you see there, if you tap that the system will cancel your submission. You don't want to do that. Just hold on and monitor the status in the next few days.

Which office are you dealing with? Bangkok can take a few days for a resolution (rejected or approved.)

Oh, hang on, I just reviewed your post again. If your due date is the 15th, and you submitted on Monday (right?) which was the 10th, you might be too late, or past the 15-to-7 days before the due date for the period to submit a report online. HOWEVER, some (many?) offices are accepting online submissions up till the due date, so you might catch a break there, depending on how your office is handling them.

At any rate, as long as you still see it pending, just wait it out. And if it ends up being rejected, or never moves off pending, you have until March 21 to do it in person.

If your Immigration Office sticks to the new rules to accept Online Reports only for the first 7 days your Application most likely will be rejected.

Can someone please give me the latest (internet)( full address to do my 90 day report on line. thanks

I'm very pleased to see how quiet this place now is.

I am eager to see if the new digital arrival card will mean we no longer have to attend in person on the first 90 days (this has only been policy since around February 2024 anyway). The first person to report on this-- who will know for certain-- should be around mid-September.

Edit:

Here is a link to the digital arrival card.

Question is if the TDAC and Immigration TM47 Reporting is linked, that wasn't the case in the past.

Tonight, April 3rd, 2 AM to 4 AM they will take the system down for maintenance.

What will happen tomorrow, lets wait.

(just submitted my report )

If you have submitted and not yet been acknowledged, I suggest you check status tomorrow.

Absolutely correct.

If quoting before and after dates, it should be 14 days before the due date and 6 days after the due date.

  1. The foreigner makes the notification in person, or authorizes another person to make the notification (The notification must be made within 15 days before or within 7 days after 90 days notification due date)  https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/90days-report/

'Within' includes the due date.

I do not understand. on https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/90days-report/  they say

Quote

(The notification must be made within 15 days before or within 7 days after 90 days notification due date)

But the example shown in the image says "before" and not "after"

APPLICANTS CAN SUBMIT THIS ONLINE APPLICATION WITHIN 15 DAYS AND NOT LESS THAN 7 DAYS BEFORE THE DUE DATE OF NOTIFICATION

My  last  notification was on january  16th, so I thought the next one would be April 15th, but the paper they gave  me says April 18th.  How was  it calculated?

I made an online notification on April 2nd according to Due date 15th but with a due date on 18th I should have made it no earlier than 4th.

The application made on 2nd is still pending, should I cancel it before it is rejected and make a new one on 4th?

On the other hand I took an appointment at Chaeengwattana on 4th in case my application would be rejected. No other date is now possible before 22th. I would prefer not to go to Immigration

Thanks

Please disregard the first part of my previous post (after/before), which I cannot edit. I made a confusion

Only this :

February was a short month, so your next date will shift forward. I would cancel the old Report and make a new one today.

Badly.  You were correct, assuming both 16/1 and 15/4 are counted in the 90.

If what is in their system is automatically calculated, then they have 15th

But if they enter manually what they stamped, then maybe 18 th ?

You submitted earlier than allowed. April 4 or 5 would have been the best time to submit the online report in this case.

Log in to the system, cancel the pending submission and make a new submission today, which is the 4th, so you are submitting at the most ideal time.

If you want to make an appointment in case your report, the one you make today, gets rejected you can make an appointment for any date that is up to 6 days past April 18. In your case here any day of Monday-Thursday, April 21-24 will be OK.

Furthermore, monitor the status of the report you submit today. If it ends up getting rejected, submit another one again. And again, if necessary, up until the 18th.

If you ultimately are approved, then you can go back into the appointment system and cancel the 90-day appointment you made.

NOTE: If the report you submit today ends up getting approved, the next due date will be 90 days from today, from the 4th. Mark the new due date and next time submit an online report two calendar weeks prior to it. In effect, start thinking of it as a '75 day report'.
