Did Trump bring shame upon the US with his Zelensky lecture?
He can do what the hell he likes inside the US as far as I am concerned. You lot fell for his cr@p and are now/will be paying the penalties! It is the sh!t he is throwing round the rest of the world that is despicable to many non Americans, although the Ruskies etc will laughing their socks off at him. -

My recent experience at the bank
They always either ask for or look at my passport I lay on the counter, so yes, it's a definite thing, as they always make a copy. At first one lady said I couldn't get an ATM card, so I left it at that, as her reasoning was I was married at the time and she said if anything happened to me, my wife could take from my account without permission if she had the card. Later I asked again, because a friend said I should be able to get a card from Bangkok Bank. I tried, the girl saying yes, I could get one, but when we tried it at the ATM, it didn't work. I'm still not sure if Bangkok Bank isn't the only one Americans can use for SS deposits, so I just stuck with them. No real problems other than not having that card for convenience. -

No not really as they can't be registered .I have one ,so first hand info . RIP to the poor chappy - he put in a life of hard work offshore, usually brutal conditions... I do wonder why he was riding an ATV (Quad) - he was 62 and thus relatively young... Was he using it as some form of mobility scooter ??? Otherwise why not a car or a motorcycle ? An ATV (Quad) does seem like a convenient machine to get around on, if one doesn't want to be riding a motorcycle - but as this accident shows, stability is an issue. That said, there are Samlors (motorcycles with those frame side carts) that are being ridden around everywhere and they are far worse IMO... certainly no better than an ATV or even those Mobility Scooters... For such an incident to happen I do wonder if booze was involved... But, I also wonder if 'another vehicle' was involved ? accidentally gave the ATV a nudge on the corner ?? - there's no mention of that in the story, but IMO, something like this is always a possibility on the roads.... -
