one can go further to suggest that aliens have secret bases here on Earth. There is sufficient proof of this as well. I guess it all depends on what you choose to believe, if anything at all

The film Iron Sky was a documentary and there actually was a project to make a Nazi moon base after WWII. 

Scientists have now improved on that due to Area 51 and made a base on Mars where no one is affected by gamma rays and ftl travel means everyone in Alpha Centauri is no longer lost in space .

I heard about the theory of a base on Mars in the 1930's serial, Flash Gordon's Trip to Mars.  Dr Zarkov explained it, so it must be true.  And when I lived in Pattaya, I was certain some of the ex-pats I met came from the planet Mongo.
